GWEN I THINK WE ARE BIRTHDAY TWINS
also great article!

I agree, but I also think it must be hard to pack a decent detective plot into a 20-minute show that also has to have at least a B-story.

"Some say Latin is a dead language, but I say it's just taking a long nap!"
Amy, this is why I love you and you're me.

But that wasn't the wedding with the nickname; the one with the nickname is Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey.

Playing House is their sitcom, and it's on USA. Keegan-Michael Key and Zach Woods are also in it, and it's definitely a "sweeter" sitcom (more like Parks and Rec as opposed to, say, Arrested Development) than you might expect from the Wompler stuff, but I think it's pretty funny.
There's only 10 episodes in the first

You're probably not missing anything, her particular humor just comes from the cumulative oddness of her world, and the strange way her mind works. I think it's really funny but I can see how someone wouldn't; maybe she's just not for you.

I really think this comment is a case of the pot calling the kettle black, Shia.

I thought your article was great, and your username is even better!

That makes sense, actually, as the purpose of grammatical rules is to ensure clarity of expression, and how you end a sentence doesn't really add to that…good point!

Actually, that's one where it's fine to end with "put up with," because it's a phrasal verb, not a preposition/object combination; you can test it by subbing in a synonym, like "endure," which means the same as "put up with" but is obviously non-prepositional.
/not a correction just a fun fact

Can't wait for this to sweep the 2016 Oscars and Adam Scott to give his sworn acceptance speech!

"back then you probably would have died from complications related to childbirth" is pretty much what I tell myself whenever I get excited about a historical period.

The realization that Lauren's actress also writes for the show really does a lot to explain all of that character's make-out sessions with Adam Pally and Ed Weeks…

Yeah, it just doesn't go so well when you're a woman and you have to marry some dude and have his kids and then actually never leave the house except like twice a year for crazy religious orgy-festivals.
Oh and when your husband gets old he can go find young men to fuck but you are reduced to being portrayed as an old

Ezra Pound or GTFO!

Liked for the erastes/eromenos reference!
Ancient Greece…so awesome, so fucked up.

WornOnTV.net has a TON of shows' outfits, including Mindy Project (and New Girl, for those of us who want that sugar-sweet Deschanel style), but tragically everything is prohibitively expensive.

"Jungleland" —Bruce Springsteen / "Romeo and Juliet" —Dire Straits

Also, how does a high school senior get accepted to medical school?

That's what I figured! (I go to school…also near Havertown, not at Penn, and I wondered if it might be here rather than Penn.)
