Ooooh! Havertown! Now I really want to know where you went to college…

I had to read both Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet In Heaven in eighth grade, and they were both terrible, but Morrie was so. much. worse.

Is anyone seeing them live on their upcoming tour? I wish I was, but midweek concerts and college classes do not mix well for me.

It was pretty much a no-brainer that they were going to renew B99, but YAY regardless!

As the sort who uses "defecate," I agree with this.

Not to be pedantic, but Jake and Rosa haven't been friends since they were kids—that's Jake and Gina.
Jake and Rosa met in the police academy, where they were presumably adults. But I think your point might still stand.

And Jake seems to genuinely like him back, too, which sells it for me as more than one-sided hero worship.

I buy CDs too! (I'm 21)

It still says A+ on the front page of the site, though, before you click onto the actual review.

I guess that's a thing about kids' shows—someone only ten years younger than you (as I am) could be unaware of what you were watching when you were that age.

I am American! I'm just too young, I guess? It appears that the show this Morris figure appeared on aired before I was born, so…

"Do you like outlet malls?"
"Yeah! But, weekends…"

I Wikipedia'd him because I didn't know who that was! And he's married.

I saw "it's not really meth" from a mile away, but as the episode got closer and closer to the end I started buying that it was really meth…and then it was not meth. Well played, show!
Also, Nick singing "Landslide" was excellence.

In Scott Aukerman's grading scheme.

Also your username and icon are my favorite things ever

Isn't "shoot the messenger" the more common saying?
(It's probably both, and I just haven't heard the one in the title.)

They use the flashback device to great effect, and especially so in that sequence.

The Schmidt/Jess friendship has always been one of my favorites! They're so different, and yet very clearly care about each other.

Shout-out to Babar the Elephant!
