It avoided the feel of a retcon to me because in the books that reveal is set up by the fact that the whole reason Tyrion has so much wildfire at his disposal during Blackwater is because the pyromancers discovered some of the hidden caches.
I think Selmy was lying in that scene, Jorah was clearly feeling him out to see if he knew and I think Selmy knew that.
if you are not familiar with the concept of shipping Jaime/Brienne I dont think your fingers ars as on the pulse of asoiaf fandom as you seem to think they are.
yeah I am normally with Todd on most things but I have no idea where he got that
all of Dany's Unsullied are young though, she buys them unbloodied
by the time they get to the hot springs in the book they have already been sleeping together for awhile, so that scene plays way more as Jon (and to a degree Ygritte) losing themselves in a new relationship when both of them know that the happiness is only temporary
In the books he's introduced as one of the Bloody Mummers who then eventually leaves their company to go back to King's Landing with Jaime and ends up in service with Cersei.
They do that anytime there's a wedding though, regardless of the genders or orientations involved.
I thought it was an interesting contrast that just a couple short weeks after a press release led media fanfare about a transgender character in Batgirl that amounted to little more than a hamfisted statement of "yes this person is trans", we get the most recent issue of FF which features a terrifically sweet and…
He's a POV character starting with book 2, he just moves off screen for a bit after that.
pretty sure that was the count of babies sacrificed to his gods
well he was only in one 2 minute scene, what kind of discussion did you want to have about it?
We saw both Grenn and Edd (Sam's two friends) fighting against the guys who attacked Craster and Mormont, but we didnt see anything definitive happen to either.
The Night's Watch don't have the resources or manpower to maintain outposts north of the wall. Putting up with Craster has meant warm fires, shelter, and maybe even a little food for rangers caught out in the cold for years and years.
that scene at the dinner table is before Robb was king, but Robb was still his liege lord in the sense that all the northern houses are sworn to follow House Stark.
actually yes, he was doing what Dagmer told him to do
I don't think thats exactly accurate. Jaime knew he was risking thier ire by speaking up. Greedy for gold Locke may be, but his men certainly wouldn't have been happy at being denied thier "fun". And if a wee bit of rape wasn't on the table anymore, then maybe they'd amuse themselves at his expense.
Actually I do believe Stannis does have a wife (and daughter) we just have not seen them on the show.
@avclub-29639d6c421c85be2b1d77158fc0b4a3:disqus Actually I think they gave a short explanation in the first season and then never brought it up again, because it's not like it really matters.
Essentially he's from a series of peninsulas just south of the Vale known as "The Fingers" and he's specifically from the…
