I guess I’ll reply to this one, since it matches with my comment. I generally like these “cheesecake” fanservicey games too. Senran Kagura was one of my favorites, even got the Neptunia crossover, and decidedly on Switch for its history of it originally being on the 3DS.

On top of the other example(s) with Nier Automata: It also reminds of in Senren Kagura, I think they call it “frantic mode”, where your characters similarly explodes their clothes and be in their swimwear. While they become faster and more powerful, they are effectively glass cannons due to lower HP or defense stats.

Oh yes, I knew about this, by accident IIRC back in the early 00s. I guess me holding the controller in my right hand with my index “gripping” the Z Button as I turned on the console. Though I will admit, I didn’t know about the other different startup sounds until much later.

Rockstar filing a dispute with Repliforce sounds more belivible than this. At least with that, they can argue about the “R” and the “Star” in the logo.

Got a feeling there is basically zero chance this will happen. Adapt Save the World and give it an ending the game never got.

The only thing I can think of is that Scott might get overwhelmed by knowing and saw what he could become, it’ll end up being that he would be one running away. Maybe Gideon and Julie being the cause of it.

I was of the camp who thought this would get a faithful adaptation, and when I heard there are changes, I figured, “Oh, your usual cross medium adaptations and maybe updates.” So color me surprised after the first episode. It is not what I expected, but I rolled with it, and I actually really liked. It gave characters

It’s kinda interesting to think back that the last non-F/TPS 007 game was either 007 Racing, or the Zelda-like Game Boy game (forgot which came first). Maybe The Stealth Affair too before that, depending how you look at it, given the 007 license was slapped on it when it was localized here (original title: Operation

While it is harder for MK1 when compared MK11, porting to a system that is roughly two generations behind power-wise as opposed to one. It does make me wonder how much time and/or money the porters had. But given MK1 will have maybe at least two years of support and content, I’d imagine; they could’ve waited until the

Ah, the psychological manipulation of value and the feeling or power when shopping. (Don’t get me started on coupons. JCP got an amazing idea of low prices all the time, maybe better when compared to stores with coupons. But failed because of that power and control customers feel when using said coupons.)

This “Slim” version looks like something they should’ve came up with in the beginning conceptionally. The disc drive on the original looked like a last minute addition like the X360 controller’s battery bulge, so an optional attachment here make sense.

My thoughts as well. They’ve always alternated between narratives/timelines, so seeing what will happen in the second Modern Warfare line without a different one does make me raise some questions. Like how far was the narrative and the levels are created. Because instead of let’s say MW1 is done, let’s work on MW2

Yeah, remember the huge leak that happened a couple years back that did include source code for some systems? People thought it would be amazing for the emulation scene. But one group, I forgot who, did speak out and outright said that they cannot even lay an eye on it in order to not be influenced by what they could

1. This person is a complete idiot, both is stealing all these cards, and trying to sell them. So good on the employee for being suspect about it.

For the first part, it makes me wonder if it’s also the fans who would accept -anything- Final Fantasy (and goes to other franchises as well). Like what if Megaman Legends was called Megaman 9 at the time. Imagine the divide. It’s not a Megaman game, because it lacks the gameflow the series at the time was known for,

Nah, you’re not alone. Like I want a new turn-based Final Fantasy game. Bravely Default is a good successor to the line at least, and I’ve considered that a “true” Final Fantasy game. Though my problem with 16 is summed up by another person who commented in another article. This feels reactionary, and it feel more

Yup. FF6, I think uses a variation on “Chicago”. I’m not sure who provided the pixel font for the GBA/DS titles (barring FFT Advance), but that is a really nice font.

To add on the Impractical Jokers part, they also got a whole behind the scenes crew, and would also assume they got signs saying “filming for Impractical Jokers in progress”. I remember for one prank, I think it involved ice cream. The “special pop-up” version mentioned that for one person, they walked away with the

I think you described my thoughts better than I could. Since this just does not feel like a mainline Final Fantasy game to me. Honestly, just by the HUD alone, I would’ve maybe thought it’s a single player Final Fantasy XIV spinoff at minimum.

Now playing

Yeah, and for some further listening or watching on the subject, Wha Happun did video on it. I completely forgot about 007 Legends, which has levels based on a movie from each Bond actor...and replaced them with Daniel Craig.
