This, and offering the manual only with the lowest trim / engine option. I think it should generally be reversed, as with the GR Corolla / WRX STI / Focus RS / GT350R.

They’re dropping like flies!
On the 2nd-gen Prius, it just signals added regen braking. You can drive around town in ‘B’ with no impact to MPG depending on your gas pedal position. It’s a bit like a precursor to ‘1 pedal driving mode’ some new BEVs have. Note that it disables cruise control.
Exactly. I did the math and a $1300 payment on a $20k loan, even at 25% interest, pays it off with “only” $4k in interest in 18 months. I think people see 25% and assume minimum payments for 5 years or something (which would be $587 btw leading to $15k in interest).
The 992 bhp ratings can just be assumed to be whp at this point. They’re very under-rated.
After lusting after the Supra for a few years as the ‘one new sports car I’d consider buying’ I got to autocross a friend’s Auto MKV. In many ways the handling (with a square 200TW tire setup) compared favorably to a 991 GT3 - the car just does what it’s told, and frees your brain up to focus on driving. The only…
I recently was in a rental A5. I came away from it with a new respect for putting together a cohesive package at a higher price point. Like I was in the best possible version of a Honda Accord. One of the nicest cars for people who don’t care about cars.

This almost comes across as a satire of ‘let’s not talk about gun control; there will be time for that, but first let’s send thoughts and prayers’ but misses the mark.
Been following the channel for a while and was very excited for the latest development. If only welding up / mocking up exhaust changes was cheaper & more accessible!
Basically what NASCAR is, right? EXTREME external dimensions requirements, overly optimizing everything that can be optimized, etc.
Frankly the old 135 isn’t great as an ‘occasional track car’ given the engine oil sits at 250°F in traffic and you’re liable to spin a rod bearing 2 laps into an HPDE.
Yeah if you really want a rust-free new car with a warranty why not just buy a new manual transmission Evo, 335i, G35/370Z instead? :)
“Slick tires”? The fronts look like PS4S to me.
My own experience is that mid-engined cars are lot more difficult to control through lift-induced slides than rear-engined ones. Rear-engined cars act a bit more like they have a heavy pendulum attached, retaining a higher polar moment of inertia, and getting back on throttle predictably slows the rotation.…
