JoJos. They ain’t just ‘Potato Wedges’, they have specific spices, coating and cooked in the same fryer/broaster as chicken. I know they come from Minnesota, but I grew up in Oregon, so imo they’re the best there.

/internet high five. The Satanic Temple seems to align with a lot of my beliefs, but not really my cuppa tea. Unitarianism is very much explore mythos and find what suits you.
Wholeheartedly agree. If you haven’t seen S.H. Figuarts popstar line, you’re missing out - they did an amazing Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury!
Actually he’s 6' 2", and Karen’s 5' 11". Hate to burst the bubble but movie magic for that shot.
Wow, I thought this as a kid too, looking out the window down hwy 99 to the coast in Oregon there’s a lot of hills that looked like giant sauropods and, being a kid, I imagined they were.
Courage mountain. Dear god. They desperately need to riff this. It was SO BAD that it’s a running gag in my family to go “Well, at least it wasn’t as bad as Courage Mountain.” We rented it from a hole in the wall video store and boy was it a regret. DEEP HURTING was how we felt when we watched it, SO BORING and long.…
Gyoza have more garlic in their spices and a thin wrapper. They’re also served with 3 types of sauces (one being a chili sauce, nom!) and usually chicken for the meat.
Yeah and Oregonian is a lil tough. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Northwest_English
Depends on which era of Girl Scouts. It was required in the 80s to repeat it as such (“On my honor, I will try to serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law.”) but they loosened this up in the late 90s (Or was it mid-00's?) to be either omitted or insert god of choice.
You can do the same thing with salt, and if you’re concerned about salt intake (which, like eating cholesterol, you really shouldn’t be worried about) you can use potassium salts (eg: morton lite salt) to the same effect. The nice part is, if you enjoy crappy preground caramel flavored coffee (lookin’ at you, folgers)…
Literally made me choke on my coffee. Science jokes for the win. <3
I’m in the same boat at my job, we hire 18-70+ (we’re diverse) there’s tons of people in that age group (18-23ish) that can’t even type past 20 wpm on a keyboard simply because they’ve been using mobile devices their whole life. They tend to have the same problems with windows, too. They’re almost more aggravating…
I can attest to the hard taffy effect. I bought some on amazon that were close to their date, and I have to cut them into manageable bites with a heavy duty knife. They still taste good, though.
Preach. It’s EXACTLY what they did to Reagan, who did some of the worst damage to the country’s stability and prosperity... and he’s remembered as “brilliant”. Ugh, I want you to be wrong, but it’s going to be as you say.
If Lestat isn’t this, I’ll be SO mad. That said, I’m stoked.
+1m points for mentioning her ban on fanfiction. <3
Half the fun of HW&HL at 1 am is people watching, you’ve got the MI students, the homeless, the tourists, the hostel people, the Scientologists if they’re having a late night, the people coming back from Universal City on the red line, etc. Throw in an awards show setup, some smokes and coffee, it’d be the best people…
Totally with you there, it’s so young Don Johnson.
I think as musicians we’re not really saying that at all. We don’t like this shit either, but you can argue that we finally have a common cause we rally around to bring in all these bad things going on and show them in the light through song.
Well Rage Against the Machine is reuniting, and if a big name band does it you can bet your sweet ass that non-big name musicians, like myself, have been writing furiously since that night (and some before). Musicians are in full swing with protest music, whether mainstream will hear it remains to be seen.
