Actually more like “well, this definitely isn’t the consequences of my actions!”

Florida Republicans: “well well well, if it isn’t the consequences of my actions.”

And City Councilmember

Sorry, said city auditor. It’s LA City Controller Kenneth Mejia — who, by definition, is our auditor but that’s not his title.

There’s an update to the story. The city auditor is looking into the tree trimming because it was not sanctioned (the trees are under city control.) The trimming was more severe than it has ever been and the wrong time of year. There is no required permit on file to do it privately and the city itself did not do it.

Studio’s just going straight up 80's movie villain.

agreed. hes dissapeared for years, hasnt he? i dont know why hes back. He shouldve done what the kid who played Joffrey did, and quit acting.

Oh noes!  Comicon will actually have to be about Comics this year!!! What will they do????????

Not even. They’ll let them go and say it’s because DeSantis didn’t want to cave to the woke mob at Farmers.

This is exactly the argument smart people make with healthcare but we are watching it play out in a different insurance industry.

DeSantis and the state legislature attempting to mandate/force a private company(s) provide a product dictated by government mandate in 3, 2, 1....

That’s kind of what I was thinking. The politicians can keep playing that denial game, to include some citizens, but seems those companies being affected by it ain’t buying it. They’re like...

In CA and Florida, they are building faster than the environment can compensate for. Runoff and large-scale removal of greenery are absolutely contributing to flooding. Humanity is its own worst enemy!

I’ve heard that if you get up on your roof and shout loudly at the approaching storm that climate change isn’t real, it will divert around your house and only hit liberal homes.

But this will cause a vacuum that the invisible hand of the free market will fill, right? Right?

But but climate change isn’t real...

Hela good choice there!

Well that just gave me Oz The Great And Powerful vibes. And if that’s the case, it will make decent money, a mixed reaction from critics and audiences, and talks of a possible sequel that never happens.

I must be getting soft in my old age, but this looks like a ton of fun. I’ve always had a weird love of the all the movies, and I hope this one does well.

For years, comic book movies seemed to be embarrassed about the fact they were comic book movies, something that only changed relatively recently.
