I am very grateful for modern engine management.
True, and that's what scares me - if it's successful, it may be emulated, and before you know it... can you imagine a whole field of Deltas? I just barfed a little in my mouth.
Similar things were said when someone put a wing on a F1 car.
Words cannot express how much I dislike the Delta Wing, purely based on my own very shallow, subjective opinion that it's super-fugly and not what a racecar should look like. Call me oldschool, but fighter jet penis? #notmyracecar
Let's say they do just that - the Sportwagon is a little smaller than the Outback, but will be quite a bit more expensive. For that, you get more refinement (great), slightly better handling (great), wonderful drivetrains (either TSI or TDI) with better economy and performance that the 2.5 flat 4 (great).
I love my GTI and all the nonsense than comes with it. The struggle is REAL!
Why VW doesn't offer a jacked-up, SUV-looking Jetta or Passat wagon in a market that has already proven to be obsessed with the Outback is totally beyond me.
Volkswagen USA needs a lesson from VW SA.
Here, the Toyota Hilux (pick up) and Volkswagen Polo and Polo Vivo (Small hatchbacks) are the nations top sellers.
The Polo is a scaled down Golf 7 (Like Fiesta is to Focus). You can have it with a 1.2 turbocharged petrol engine and a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Perfect who people…
I can't be so sure. Toyota and Honda have pretty much stagnated innovation, yet their cars are still selling like hotcakes simply because they are a Honda/Toyota. When you get people who will only buy a Toyota and they won't cross shop a GM car because "It'll break down!" "It'll get recalled" or "I had a Buick back in…
My Dad was very interested in the Chevy Colorado. That was until he saw that almost all of the dealers around him were asking over $30,000 for them. If that's the case then Toyota still have nothing to worry about...
This is a battle I've been fighting with my wife, both on the Flex and the e39. I may just have to go rogue, buy the tires and take my lumps.
Yeah, no.
Those tiny beds, can they even fit an adult sized bicycle in them?
It's sad how spartan this category has become. I'm glad the canyon is back, and I can't wait to see a redesigned Tacoma. I still wish the new Ranger were offered here.
Unfortunately, neither car is yet capable of signaling.
