Please tell me I wasn’t the only one who saw that first frame of the video and, for a split second, thought Roman was Elton John.
The car is all-wheel drive, so I suspect the truck will be as well. When you are using electric motors, why not make everything all-wheel drive? The car has adjustable ground clearance. The truck could as well. Look at this video of how that car handles in a foot or more of snow. That guy you see at the beginning…
Aww, it’s like a ‘56 Ford F-100 and a Studebaker Champ had a little chibi baby.
That truck is adorable. Retro isn’t usually my thing, but I like that. Steering wheel is going to need an airbag, unless they did a miraculous job of miniaturizing it into that center hub.
Always a smile when $kaycog enters the chat... :)
Just check the SDS for any vapor issues before heating. Some stuff throws off nasty fumes when heated. I know SG is in the 105F camp (I sell both 105 and 180 rated fluids, the former for manual cleaning), but they claim it’s for fluid longevity reasons.
Wait you didn’t know? We just passed the two-year anniversary:
There was one instance where the show did give them a whole new, well new to them, car. The car they owned was two halves welded together, poorly, so the show got a non welded together shitbox to give to them and pimped that.
you wouldnt utilize water in a parts washer. It uses a recirculating pump to run the solvent through the cleaning brush
what annoys me more than car parts in a dishwasher are glasses placed sideways in the tray. it wont get clean and the dirty water does not drain out. You just end up cleaning them again.
Sure speed tv had the power block on Sundays but it was filled with old white dudes building muscle cars and trucks.
Jalopnik presents: Roast my ride.
I prefer to remember this.
That was the result. The premise, as I interpreted it, was to fix up a car for someone in need.
...In the rear, they installed a machine that someone on their modification team said was “able to make water right out of thin air.”...
Of the spate of “We customize someone’s vehicle” shows that all seemed to exist at once, Overhaulin’ was producing the best results.
The premise of this show was great. The result was a parody of itself.
I miss Trick My Truck. I preferred it over PMR because, yes, they’d do outlandish aesthetics, and sometimes include “silly” add-ons in the interior, but for the most part their mods were more practical, as these were vehicles for people’s livelihoods. Also, they would actually fix and/or improve the drivetrains...…
