Has the Camaro SS ever been a “rival” to the Demon 170? Ummm no.

Its the method that is surprises not the results. I have never seen a factory car hook up that much power like that. It’s violently efficient even the burnout.
This was a surprise to whom exactly?
I stand by my previous post from a couple of weeks ago. The Cybertruck is the worst-engineered consumer vehicle product available on the market today.
Sounds to me like this mom was afraid of her own child. She did things to placate him and avoid violence, much like an abusive spouse.
Of course the Hyundai won, every review I have seen raves about it.
The tariff is hardly the magic fix these fuckwits seem to think it is. I recall US soybean farmers losing their biggest customer after Trump tried to play the trade war game with China resulting in them having to be bailed out by the gov’t to the tune of $28 billion. They must think Americans are idiots, or are just…
The 70s were truly weird.
You mean it’s just a sparkling bomb then.
It’s not a hydrogen bomb unless it comes from the hydrogen region of the American military industrial complex. Otherwise it’s just a bomb with hydrogen in it.
Passed one of those signs the other day and got a flashback to the 1970’s for some reason so I told my wife to keep her eyes out for “a bear in the air”.

Jesus, tailgating is the oldest trick in the book to sneak into a place you don’t belong. The fact that such a method can work in airports is baffling!
Bizarre take. Do you work at a dealer or something? Presumably slinging Altimas to single moms at a 29% APR with the intention to repossess them later.
Make it illegal for dealerships to do much of the sh*t they do.
No dislike here. The system is absolutely set up to allow people to take advantage of financial illiterates. Car salespeople specifically are trained to distract from the total price and only talk about payments, making damn sure not to mention that those payments will continue for the better part of a decade.
I’ve spent a lot of time learning about personal finance and I’m naturally very frugal. That said, I’m less inclined than I used to be about financial-shaming people. The deck is usually stacked, there’s a power imbalance, and a car purchase is usually not a discretionary luxury purchase for most people. This comment…
I’m with you. If you have the time getting a boat from NY to Southampton in the UK only takes 7 days. My grandma used to do it as she hated flying.
Air travel in general is just a necessary evil at this point. Getting through an airport (in the US) is a test of patience for security, then you get ripped off for basic food. A small cup of grapes going through an airport over the weekend was $9.99... The airport is loud, people making queues across walkways, people…
