Anyone who associates the car with any of that is actually racist themselves. I live in the Detroit metro area and I can conform that these cars are just as popular, if not more, popular, among the non-white, young (under 45) urban crowds. 

Most of the time someone speeding down my short 25 mph residential street is a middle-age woman in a Lexus RX or Buick Encore. 100% of the time it’s a boring and mind-numbing “crossover” with a driver that’s just as numb to children playing in the neighborhood they’re blindly speeding through with cellphone in-hand.

Meh. It wouldn’t take much elbow grease to remove the douchiness. The price is not ridiculous for the current fox-body Mustang market. Five years from now the ND voters will wish they had paid a measly $10K for this car.

Similar comments were made in the 80s when FWD, digital clock radios, and “all these damn computers” came about. None if it became true. People find ways to fix and work-around issues like that.

Getting out of Michigan is tough. Most of the time it requires going through Ohio. I’ve learned to just sleep through that portion of I-75. I mean... we have to go so low so who would I even hurt?

Poor driver education. America may not have the worst drivers in the world, but we have plenty of bad ones that do things like sit in the left lane of the Eisenhower and/or never look in their mirrors for any reason what-so-ever.
