It’s still a basketball. They all have to fall within certain parameters.
They’ll never get rid of helmets, but they could use helmets that break/crumple apart upon a certain level of impact. That would better distribute much of the energy from the impact. By staying intact, the energy still transfers right to the head.

So I assume you buy the game on Steam and then you also download a cracked version that you can play without being monitored?
Avatar was stunning and great in the theater, but repeat viewing really show that it’s not that great of a movie. I think that’s probably true for many big action/blockbuster movies. Star Trek, Force Awakens, Independence Day, etc. They’re all about that initial experience - not really come great movie.
My biggest enjoyment from it is the possibility of a darker sequel that really gets into the new characters. I think it spent too much effort on trying to connect to nostalgia of the original trilogy and it was a little too cheesy.
So, had it happened, you wouldn’t have been surprised? Hot take.
