Also vehicle GVWR. The typical full-sized truck in the US would be subjected to the 80 km/h (~50 mph) speed limit and restricted to the right lane in Germany. As would anything towing a trailer.

It’s not lack of education, people don’t care.

Yeah, this is huge. Speed limits should probably be a bit higher in some spots, but cops need to patrol with more than just their radar guns.

Speed limits are fine in most cases. Whats sorely lacking is enforcement and education about passing lanes. Until that’s fixed it doesn’t matter how much you raise the limits, I’ll still be stuck flashing my high beams at some idiot doing 50 in the passing lane on I-95 who moved to that lane position immediately after

At the time, it made sense for Harley to just develop something in house (plus Harley’s pride being another factor) and Buell would be stuck with what

Everyone likes to make Harley the bad guy in the Buell deal, and it’s understandable because it looks like Harley killed a golden goose in their prime.

The point of at least 50% of Morning Shifts (and damn near 100% of Orlove’s) seems to be designed to have some combination of thinking the whole world is like Brooklyn, and shaming people who have the audacity not to agree with that.

“I often spend a few idle minutes wondering what America would look like if air travel went back to being ridiculously expensive and we all just drove to Wally World instead of flying to Hawaii.”

Hahaha... I think you covered it, my friend.  Don’t sweat it.
