The acorn should have complied.

No. The man has an illness, and is not fit to serve as an armed police officer. Immediate termination from sworn duty, reassign to office work.
As others have noted here, there is really no such thing as “over engineered.”
How nice — they had something for the Germans to work on in Brazil after mid-1945.
The HPP on these is mechanical (they do have an electric LPP), so no run, no pressure. But there IS enough residual pressure in the Hi-press circuit to leak down a bit after shutdown. That’s seems like a fair diagnosis.
If the root cause is indeed mechanical in the engine or trans (i.e., drivetrain), then everything around that failure is reimbursable. I am eager to read part 2.
“Only 5-15% of these flat-6 engines will experience a failed IMS bearing, so it’s still a good engine. Right? RIGHT?”
No fusible link in the wiring for this vehicle, but the 550A fuse in the high amperge fuseblock provides similar protection.
I agree, tons of politics at work here, but $200M of dilution money from the Andrettis — a team that will likely take years to become competitive -- seems a bit disingenuous.
F1 is fun stuff to watch, but the bid against Andretti is Eurotrashery at its finest.
Any two-lane road in the US of A when I’m on a bicycle. Terrifying.
The two-lane road that connects to the parking lot of my local high school.
Bonus Fact: Williams Advanced Engineering supplies the current generation battery packs to Formula E. WAE is a spinoff from Williams F1, but each company is now independently owned and operated.
How can anyone be even remotely surprised at this point?
“So I lift my shade and I see this humongous flames from the crane and the humongous black smoke in front of me.”
Death lanes.
Good post.
So... Buy a Tesla. Support a tyrant.
Outstanding! I did not know that!
“Boogity-boogity-boogity!”
