why such an exorbitant fine?
dang it
Any other time I’d agree with Verstappen being a giant man-baby.
This states it is an offence to issue: “any words, deeds or writings that have caused moral injury or loss to the FIA, its bodies, its members or its executive officers, and more generally on the interest of motorsport an
I mean, sportsball players get fines all the time for swearing at the wrong time. Like in a filmed press conference. Right after your sport’s governing body has said “enough with the sailor talk boys.”
This is beginning to sound like: RAN WHEN DOCKED. MINOR BODY DAMAGE. CLEAN SUBFAX. FLOATS AND DIVES LIKE NEW. RARE 1 OF 1 TITANIC SPECIAL!!! 12K DEPTH RATING GUARANTEE. TEST DRIVES WELCOME
Every blue collar work site will be in big trouble
So let’s say you have a friend or family member who decides to go bungee jumping. Their cord snaps and they fall to their death. At their funeral you would tell people “well, he fucked around and found out!” Or “well, he played a stupid game and won a stupid prize!”
Why do automakers insist on installing electrically powered doors? Just give us manual door locks like we’ve had forever. They work. They are easy to fix. They don’t require idiotic emergency levers. Stop overcomplicating things that work perfectly fine.
OH WAIT!!!! I forgot that gravity on Mars is only about 38% of Earth’s, so technically that means you can load this thing up to at least 2 average female adults. I’m sure the stale fish will be by shortly to give me more reasons why this is perfectly fine and totally how it was designed.

One day I did this but…
He’s rich, so nothing will happen. If he was a regular person, he’d in sitting in a cell by now.

The plane manufacturer is the only reason this story was posted on here. This kind of issue happens every now and then and with a plane of this age, was likely due to a maintenance error not a manufacturing issue.
Plane are not air tight like a balloon. Without the cabin pressurization bleed off the engines (or if someone left a window open), cabin pressure is going to drop as the plane climbs.
The lack of pressurization means the pressure *inside* the ear is much higher than outside. The pressure imbalance is going the other way.
Why would you assume that? I mean it could be, but it could also be the 70 year old just hit the accelerator and panicked like many old people do. If it was anything but a Tesla, that would be the likely assumption, right?
