FE cars are power limited (like most racing cars, one way or another), not speed limited.

Electric motors may make torque at 0 rpm and have a pretty flat power delivery for the most part (compared to a gas engine) but they still have a power band they work best in.

I’m only a casual viewer of Formula E and have only watched a few races, but does FanBoost really work? I don’t recall anyone actually winning or achieving a significant result just because of FanBoost. I mean, they’re all on tight street circuits so overtaking requires so much more than just sheer horsepower.
