The doors did seal properly by all accounts. The bulkheads just weren’t tall enough.

Now they just need to make one that actually looks nice...

So the next Boxster will:

Yeah gang violence my assumption as well, given the lack of fatalities despite the massive number of people shot. Gang violence/retaliation always seems to involve just firing in the general vicinity of your target and hoping you hit someone. I can’t remember the exact event, but I seem to remember something like this

What if you decide you want a version of the car that doesn’t have a wide-body conversion (which you can’t undo once you’ve bought it)? For instance I want both a wide-body and stock width 1200 Beetle. I’ve already put the wide-body on the one I won from the Cafe challenges, so I’ll have to buy or win another one to

I thought he was being facetious with that statement. 5.8s is noticeably quick for what this is.

It’s as if you weren’t sure your 2nd sentence properly conveyed how out of touch you were, so you felt the need to remove all doubt with the 3rd sentence...

I also hate using touchscreens for every function. They have their places, but they’re worthless for typing (especially since autocorrect is still apparently barely literate after a decade+ of refinement).  Typing with a flip phone was even worse though - having to tap a key 3 times for the letter you want is

In addition to peoples’ lack of spatial awareness, trains are also substantially wider than the track gauge, so being slightly clear of the tracks still leaves you vulnerable to being walloped by the train anyway.

Yes, we know. In order to stop climate change, we have to forego everything that’s even remotely interesting in life...

Here’s one of many articles on it: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54752188

I’m sure this was tongue-in-cheek, but it wouldn’t work in the UP. There’s too many people up there who support this nonsense in the first place, and while they’re clearly not the sharpest tools in the shed, I don’t think even they would want to hurt themselves by cutting off travel to/from the rest of Michigan. Plus

It combines the disadvantage of trains (inflexible routes) with the disadvantage of trucks (can only carry 1 container at a time - when a single well car on a freight train can stack containers 2 high). Only people from Silicon Valley would think of something that combines disadvantages, solves nothing, and claim it’s

They’re probably confused because it was Ice Cube, not Ice T...

Isn’t that how most ships are/were built anyway? The hull and most of the superstructure are built in a drydock, the ships is launched, and the rest of it is put together afterwards.

It’s the SBC. That first one isn’t doesn’t even exist.

It’ll be all about how annoying futuristic they can make their interiors and user interfaces.

How has a story about an event as significant as the 16th Street Baptist Church Bombing gone with no comments for more than 12 hours??

With the exception of the Lyriq, I’m pleasantly surprised at how “normal”, yet attractive, GM’s first Ultium vehicles look. The Hummer, Silverado, and the Equinox (at least in concept form) look great - especially the latter 2 vehicles.
