IIRC GM’s “hybrid” SUVs from that era were just a beefed-up starter motor that gave MAYBE a 1-mpg gain in fuel economy. They were as “mild” as a mild hybrid could get. These buttons remind me of a modern refresh of what you’d find on the center console of a car from the ‘80s and ‘90s. And I mean that in a good way! Talk about retro-futuristic!
