I was going for naked mole-rat, but beaver works too. That name doesn’t quite convey just how ugly this design is though.

I knew I wasn’t the only one who thought BMW was taking inspiration from the face of a naked mole-rat.
Don’t you dare slander Heat Miser!
Several women have been given test drives in F1, and as far as I can tell it’s done absolutely nothing. Besides, Danica is pretty old by F1 standards.
But trying to actually DO something about inequality is HARD. Virtue-signalling has much more immediate results (not for anyone who actually needs help, of course...).
Only the dumbest of idiots would believe anything Trump said unless they were rich. And as much as I’d like to imagine the majority of his base being utter morons (and to be fair many probably still are), I think the majority of them voted for other reasons besides being duped, and much of it was based on some form of…
Not for Ferrari, but the overwhelming majority of F1 drivers throughout the history of the sport would’ve killed to have a win and 7 total podiums to their name. Also she has an average finish that’s more than good enough to regularly be in the points in F1. And her average results would be even better if you took out…
Danica was a decent open-wheel driver who sucked at driving stock cars when they weren’t on road courses, just like literally every other open-wheel driver who tried to do the same, with the exception of Tony Stewart (remember Dario Franchitti’s NASCAR career? No? Exactly). And her win was because she took a gamble on…
I’ve been joking about carmakers doing that for a while (specifically going to “gesture-based” steering and with pedals that are nothing but rigid, immovable, pressure-sensitive plates). Now I’m afraid they’ll seriously consider this...
Skateboard chassis, 1 motor per driven axle, interior designed by someone with a touchscreen fetish. Oh and don’t forget a stupid blank panel where a grille would normally be. OMG SO MUCH VARIETY! THE FUTURE LOOKS AWESOME!
The only place I’ve seen that had a large amount of negative reviews for it was this website. Lots of people loved it, myself included. I’m not saying anyone’s criticism is necessarily wrong, but anyone with mostly negative opinions about the movie is definitely in the minority. Besides, I didn’t read anything about…
I think he was talking about BAC limits, not speed limits.
Yes, lugging around literal tons of batteries that can self-immolate without warning and then burn uncontrollably, and reignite spontaneously after being extinguished is definitely the superior solution.
If they’re gonna be staying for an extended period of time, there’s likely already something else burning that’s way worse for their air quality than the fuel being burned in a modern diesel engine.
You do know this thing is gonna cost more than the $100 deposit, right?
Because Li’l Baby is already taken.
Honestly this may be a blessing in disguise. He’ll probably keep his body and mind healthier for longer than if he was playing football.
Electric motors might not be affected by air density like engines are (except for maybe cooling needs), but the hydrogen fuel cells supplying the electricity still need oxygen in order to function, so I’d assume they’d run into the same issues as ICEs operating at high altitudes.
While hydrogen certainly does make more sense in this case than batteries, the tanks generally need to be perfectly cylindrical in order to be able to safely hold the hydrogen at the required pressures, so they probably won’t fit inside the wings where most aircraft keep their fuel.
If you think the power/weight ratio of batteries sucks (and it does), just wait until you try to design a reactor with appropriate shielding and other safety features...
