She even made one with the big lips old-timey racist cartoons used to draw on black people...

Imagine if BMW put that hideous oversize-grille theme in the next M8, and then made a GTE racecar out of it. We’d have “hideous oversize-grille” + the “gigantic M8 GTE” memes combined. It might break the internet.

Right down to that stupid blank spot where the grille is supposed to be. Granted, it does somehow look better (in the renderings at least) than the Model 3/Y front end, but it’s still stupid and unattractive.

Neutral: I’d much rather they invest in public transportation infrastructure. It’s way more equitable, and would affect a much larger population, thereby having more of a benefit on the environment. And I wouldn’t have to care about the environmental impact of driving my (still ICE-powered, because batteries are

Good luck doing a competent EV-swap for less than $3000. You might as well just buy a new car at that point. EV-swapping is only worth it if you REALLY love the car, but it has a wrecked drivetrain. It’s purely a passion effort, because EV swapping a car that wasn’t meant for makes it a worse vehicle in literally

She’s a cop. Regardless of the law, she’d have all the time in the world to file if she wanted to.

Of course Mazda would be one of the few manufacturers to figure out how to properly place a grille on an EV. And also one of the few with an interior not designed by someone with a touchscreen fetish...

Aside from Rihanna with Fenty here’s probably not a single CEO of a major corporation that didn’t vote for Trump (or at least they’re waaaaay outnumbered by those that did). Fortunately this is an easy one for me to boycott, on account of the fact that I’ve been “boycotting” them my whole life.

It’s from an ad for taco shells IIRC, and since tacos are associated with Mexico, that’s probably a safe bet. Though the company may have just chosen someone Hispanic regardless of nationality.

They probably don’t mind that so much, considering we give them money and weapons so they can do exactly the same thing in Yemen and elsewhere...

What’s stopping you from getting a non-autonomous EV? Fully autonomous cars aren’t anywhere near production-ready for normal personal vehicle use. Don’t hold your breath for one to pop up in a showroom anytime soon.

It’s the only way they can be sure they’re keeping the race pure.

I saw it on TV when I was maybe 10 or 11, and my interest in cars and racing was just starting, and I thought it was the best car/racing movie or TV show I’d ever seen. I rewatched clips of it a few years ago, and I can’t believe how awful it was. The scene I remember most is during one of the accident scenes (I think

Even worse is when they’re neck-and-neck with another car and they pull ahead by...just hitting the gas harder??? Because they weren’t already flooring it when racing???

I’ve flown 16 hrs from Detroit to Japan and back, twice, and I didn’t think it was that bad aside from the boredom, and I got to see movies I otherwise wouldn’t have ever bothered watching. Granted, I was in high school and college when I did it, and I might feel different about flying coach for that long when I’m

You should start a company and sell them!

Ew. I prefer the approach that doesn’t try to fool distract anyone glancing under the hood from the fact that you’ve yanked all the interesting bits out of the car.

If they’re going to use their own charging network instead of Superchargers, why not use Bolts instead of Model 3s? They get slightly longer ranges, should have more consistent build quality, should have more headroom, and should be easier to come by since they’re not exactly flying off of dealer lots.

Agreed. I’m happy they’re at least keeping an engine in it...

If ships could go 500 knots, they’d use waaaay more fuel than an airplane at that same speed.
