This take makes no sense because gravity was clearly not a factor in any of the environmental design. The Mako drove around like a toy dune buggy in a moon bounce, but then the second you got on foot in the same environment, you were treated to Earth-like gravity. This was true of every single planet in the game.

A handful of screenshots and some vague statements about how ME1's clunky gameplay is being adjusted and people are already getting pissy.

Anticipating a lot of “they changed it, now it sucks” but ALSO a lot of “they didn’t change enough, so it sucks” in reaction to this.

I’m sure Kandy Muse will find a way.

I could tolerate Kandy if she did *one* thing that was truly worthy of all her arrogance and bravado. But she hasn’t done that yet, so she needs to shut up. Or better yet, be shut up. Tamisha! Iman! Is coming! For you!

Dude doesn’t come off as particularly well-spoken or thoughtful, but neither does he come off as unreasonable or objectionable. I think his stance on appearing with women is... odd... but not retrograde or offensive. He makes it clear that’s his practice not because he thinks women are inferior, but to cut down on

Man, it is hilarious to think that Mass Effect was once a “controversial” game.

I thought this was a marked improvement over last week, which coupled less thrilling queens with a lot of contrived drama and buckled under weight of this whole convoluted way to split the girls into two groups.

“Despite the eye-roll-inducing name, Fenyx: Immortals Rising was pretty cool, even if it too grocked a lot from prior Ubisoft games and Nintendo’s Breath of the Wild.”

I’m gonna say it: that new professor is hot.

That roadmap really could have just been a bullet pointed list, because the visualization gives zero actual indication of timeline here.

Really weird to announce a delay just a few months after formally announcing it. I wonder if the Cyberpunk debacle has made developers nervous.

Considering EA has only delivered a solid B+ Star Wars game (Fallen Order) at its best, and an industry-reckoning debacle at its worst (those fucking loot boxes), I’m not surprised Disney has altered their deal.

I think the game is... fine. I’m a PC gamer, and have a higher end setup so I’ve largely had no major issues- though still had to re-load from prior saves due to bugs, but that is hardly unusual from a game of this scope.

As Ash said, diversity isn’t an easy thing to unpack and even though it initially seems ideal, “more is better” is not necessarily the blanket answer.

Yeah, it’s very weird for a game set in a place that is sex in your face, all the time (and does so in a way that seems to aim toward people of all types of sexuality). But then it doesn’t really commit beyond the advertisements.

ME2 is the only one of the trilogy that never once feels like a chore to me. Whenever I replay ME1, it feels like having to eat my vegetables so I can get to dessert. The main story is fine, but what I remember most are the repetitive side quests- you bop around in the unwieldy Mako across largely barren rocky planets

I’m enjoying it well enough, and fortunately the thing runs fine on my PC. I’m not finding it as compelling or engaging as my favorite games- it doesn’t consume my thoughts or time like those do.

All this and not one mention of irregular Oreos?!

It may not have dominated among dedicated gamers or had much in the way of great first party games released, but the Switch probably expanded its ownership to more casual gamers than any other console in years. It was extremely hard to find for the spring and summer and was snapped up and resold at ridiculous markups,
