Because it worked so well for Mazda ...

I've never understood how this happens to so many people. My last laptop, a $400 Asus, lasted me 5 or 6 years until I dropped it. My wife's current HP laptop has lasted over 4 years so far and hasn't had a single issue.

I always wonder when people talk about Android pricing. Since pretty much every decent smartphone costs $200 under contract, are there really that many cheapskates buying the discount Android phones that cost under $100? Everyone I know with Android phones has spent the same as I did on an iPhone to get the latest

The price difference is much bigger with computers. If you similarly spec a Mac vs. PC, the Mac with almost exactly the same hardware will be like 2x as much. Literally the only differences would be OS and a pretty case. I just looked at the least expensive Mac on Apple's website and it's $1099. A very similarly

You can swap the word Android for PC and the comments go back another generation.

The fact is that Google has the money and human resources to do literally anything they want. A Google car could be successful, but only if its something people actually can relate to on some level, and not a overcute dorkmobile that only someone living on a Palo Alto tech campus could love.

"Sometimes it feels good not to talk. At all. About anything. To anyone. "

Does Google really have any consumer brand loyalty though? I mean, really?

I just don't see why the guy is held in such high regard. Find clean German design, copy/paste, now he's a genius? But then I'm not a fan of Apple and their products in general. It's what people buy when they buy into hype and don't comparison shop (in my mind at least.)

You can bet your ass that any car Apple designs is going to be a hell of a lot nicer than the Google dorkmobile.

"We take steel, raw steel, and turn it into car."

If the new mail truck runs on any fossil fuel, it's an immediate failure in my book. These tiny things need very little range (in the majority of cases), and the flat load floor of battery packs would be PERFECT for this. This should be a competition between Tesla, GM, Nissan and Fisker (because of the A123 battery

Is that a No More Wife Beater?

"I don't give a fuck about all these innocent black people being killed because I'm sick of seeing the phrase 'white men" written so callously! We need to deal with THAT racism first before we even CONSIDER the racism surrounding those dead black folks. AND YES THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME KIND OF RACISM" - ManBearPig618

Is late for work in 2089, goes to Citroen tries to turn it on "Not now, I'm tired"

I know how there is a practical angle to this application, and that's honorable, but the second the system exists to sustain blood pumping through tissue on a non-biological application someone in the tuner segment is putting tits on their Honda. It's just the world we live in, man.

Seriously... Wtf was Toyota thinking?

I do not find this amusing. Astronaut portraits are supposed to be formal and professional.
