Everyone seems to be a bit confused so hopefully this will help with that.

If you have an Android you just don't use Carplay. Carplay only becomes active when you plug an iPhone in. When you don't have one plugged in, you just use the stock OS from the manufacturer.

Carpal only functions when you have the iPhone plugged in. When it's not plugged in, you use whatever infotainment system the manufacturer has in it.

Ah okay. I mean, I understand that it's the same tech on the inside throughout all of the brands. But either by luck or Apple magic-mumbo-jumbo, my Mac has never had issues. But my family is a PC family and they have to cycle through laptops every year because they just crap out.

Um, there's the Mac Mini, for $599. Granted it lacks a screen though. A brand new Macbook Air can cost $899. Apple computers are crazy stupid expensive. But I've had a Macbook Pro for years, not a single issue. When my middle-class Dell PC had a hard drive failure after 9 months.

I can find an Android phone for $.50. There's no point in comparing the premium iPhone, even if it is cheap, to an Android phone made out of nothing but plastic, 5 year old tech and lacking cameras.

You can say "Apple sux" all you want but you can't deny they changed the phone market. Otherwise, Google and every phone manufacturer on the planet wouldn't have jumped on the same bandwagon.

It really doesn't. But if you say "Androids are cheaper than iPhones" and the iPhone is $20 cheaper than an Android phone, then it's not really a true statement.

Because the Galaxy Note 4 isn't the top of the line. If we're going to say "Androids are cheaper than iPhones" than compare the top-of-the-line iPhone, to the top-of-the-line Android phone.

Of course they'll be. But we're going to compare the biggest iOS brand, Apple, with the most popular Android brand, Samsung. If I compare an iPhone 6 Plus with an Alcatel OneTouch, of course the OneTouch will be cheaper, they're in entirely different segments of the market.

Oh it's not. But you can't really compare the top of the line iPhone to the bargain bin android phone. That's like comparing apples (teehee) to oranges.
