Actually not that bad. The STI, s2000, mustang, s5, and exige have all done pretty well at retaining their resale (assuming the cars are kept in good shape). I could see all 6 of those cars appreciating one day, the STI maybe a little less than the others.

the United States never got the twin turbo 2+2. I’m just comparing the models that competed directly against each other in the US domestic market, since that’s what this article focused on.

Which would make the z32 the 2nd lightest.

Between the FD, twin turbo targa Supra, 3000GT vr4, and two seater twin turbo t-top z32, the z32 is the 2nd lightest.

Between the FD, Supra, and 3000gt, and z32, the z32 was the 2nd lightest.

Oh that’s a great idea! I bet I could talk him into a Subaru....

We did look at a lightly used fx35, but he wants a new car, and he had to recline pretty significantly because the seat height was weirdly high. It also had a kind of aggressive driving character which I liked, but he didn’t. If the car was for me, I’d rather have a used or CPO macan or fx for 40 grand.

Agreed. I just went car shopping with my SO, and we started at Nissan. He wants a mid-size SUV so we started with the Murano, and the whole thing reminded me of late 90s Pontiac. We took a maxima for a spin because it offered a lot more car for the same money, and it was FAR nicer, but a little small to daily for his

Get the Alfa. If you’re driving 20 miles a week there’s little opportunity for things to break.

Literally any color but white.

Scion failed because they were toyotas. Toyota is only popular because of brand loyalty. Scion did exactly as well as Toyota would do if the concept of brand loyalty didn’t exist.

I keep a fork in the cup holder to jam into my thigh

Pretty much all early 911s are at CP prices. There’s a big cloud of crack smoke over most vintage car collectors these days.

That mustang looks exactly like a Lexus.

Nah. People that voted for trump are totally racist.

You know of “more than one” person with more than 100k miles on their rotary and that makes them perfectly reliable? Lollllllllllllllll

False.

There’s no airship?! WTF?!?

This needs LSD and at least 70 more HP to be a contender in that price range, just to make up for the crappy interior and chassis.

In 2003 I drove a 600+whp Single turbo Supra with not enough supporting mods or tuning. Turbos seemed like they just switched on at like 6000 rpm, and below that the car was slower than my NA 300zx. Not sure if it counts as a case of having too much power, but if that car had 400whp and stock twins, it would have been
