You are not the only one. All of these click bait articles like the one Kotaku wrote above are just such edgy hot takes and I roll my eyes when they talk about the humor and how we’ve all matured beyond it. I still think bonerfarts is funny. But yes it’s borderlands and it’s a different place with different characters

Am I the only person who find the complaint about a lack of innovation to be completely irrelevant? I mean, how many people who are planning to buy Borderlands 3 want it to be anything other than more Borderlands? I know some people are saying “I was burnt out of Borderlands after the first one, part 2 didn’t tickle

So the next time this dude claims sincerity, we’re just supposed to buy it wholesale, right?

Real courage of your convictions there, Pewds.

That’s true, and look, we’re on the same side here. I’m just trying to save my outrage for the most egregious offenders (i.e. the MOST predatory guys like EA, TT, AB, etc.). Not arguing that gacha games like Pokemon Masters aren’t predatory, just that sometimes we gotta pick our battles. Too many things to be angry at

But it’s still predatory. The fact that even the in game currency is separated into two kinds, Gems paid for and gems earned, with gems earned being inferior and not able to buy everything. That’s a practice even EA hasn’t tried.

Don’t let Maximillian Dood hear you say that!

So I mean, is the level of vitriol people are spewing warranted? Probably not.

I’ve only been overtly rude to one person online, years and years ago, on WoW, because he was bullying my younger brother (in game and irl) and I ripped him a new hole. He left my brother alone after that, so alls well that ends well, but otherwise I typically go out of my way to be nice to folks on multiplayer games

really showing your whole ass here dude.

While this isn’t a big deal if you were deliberately trying to glitch the game out, it’s incredibly easy to bypass the sprite limit inadvertently by simply copying and pasting an item or enemy when you’re already near the threshold.

Did YOU read the article at all?  It is plainly stated that the limit can be inadvertently bypassed when copying and pasting objects.

I agree, but shouldn't we be allowed to play around with glitches so long as we aren't trying to upload the levels?

Thanks for this, Maddy. It’s stories like yours that will—hopefully—reach some of the folks who don’t understand why representation (and accurate/positive representation) matters so much.

The vast majority of protagonists in video games are straight white dudes. I don’t have to worry about whether or not my race, sex,

I get that you get off on being a nihilistic edgelord—and that you apparently believe both your nihilism (and other, even less intelligent qualities as evinced through your posting history) makes you more erudite/intelligent/observant than the next person—but for the folks who really want/need help who might be sent

Here’s hoping Amofah is found alive and well—and gets the help he needs. It’s not looking good, and dragging that kind of body of water for one person is very much the epitome of needle-in-a-haystack work, but until his whereabouts are confirmed one way or another, all anyone can do is hope he set his stuff down and

If you need to feel hospitable in a place like Twitch, where the incentive to get paid is to get more users, and the larger streamers have a constant barrage of chat...I just don’t see how it’s possible to avoid this stuff completely.

Eh, it’s like watching sports. Sure it’s fun to go to the playground and shoot some hoops, but it’s also fun to watch the pros at work.

Only thing I know about this topic is from this article.  I really enjoy how all of you assume he just attacked her.  Bruising on the wrist could have come from him restraining her if she was attacking him.  Considering he did not get arrested and how she wouldn't let him back in to get his stuff unless he agreed to

I mean...all respect given, but what were your expectations here?

Do you really want a mission in a Spider-Man game where Peter has to investigate an NYPD officer for killing an unarmed man in the street? That, or something equally as topical and troubling, is a bell you can’t un-ring. If the game were to get that

This is quite groan inducing. Spider-Man helps Yuri, and by extension the NYPD, not the NYPD specifically, she is the only one he trusts, and likewise, and she is the only one he is truly attempting to help. Hell, several times during gameplay he remarks about leaving the scene before the police show up because he’s
