It’s more railing against the idea that there’s only one body type that’s completely healthy. That being skinny/overweight isn’t an automatic death sentence that the media likes to portray sometimes.

I’m under the impression that they caved a while ago, but SE wanted to wait until the graphical upgrade. Which makes sense.
God yes. Who thought having a ton of ads in between the paragraphs of the articles was a good fucking idea??
I look at that differently. I also find those paramount ads annoying. The game pass ads are unobtrustive and can be easily ignored. Now if they played an ad for gamepass every time I started up a game THEN we’d have an issue.
Like on one hand, if TikTok states that anyone can use these commercially, then that seems rather open and shut.
On the other hand, even if it is, it still seems kinda shitty for a big company to use a clip from a social media site to advertise for a game instead of making their own
ESPECIALLY on mobile.
I really don’t see a problem with Game Pass ads, ESPECIALLY because I’m a member. I look at it as a “Oh hey, here’s what’s on this service that you’re paying for.” thing.
I can do without the other ads tho.
It’s so weird having grown up through two SF golden eras. As a kid, the time between SF2 and Super Turbo felt like a lifetime, but it was only three years. It was still a magical time.
Then you have the SF4 Era, which completely reinvigorated the genre. It was quite a time to be alive.
SF6 is still pretty early in…
Yeah, for all of it’s technical problems, Scarlet/Violet had one of the better stories. But holy fuck that ending sequence was freaking S-tier.
Wow, that’s not a totally unbiased headline at all.
This is sarcasm, right? Considering how Sony was acting like this merger going through would spell certain doom for them.
I’m about halfway through the game and....I don’t see this at all? Jill absolutely feels like a main character behind Cid and Clive. Granted she’s not THE main character. And that’s fine. She is MUCH better in this game than most of the female cast in the last game, Which was a pretty huge step down from the female…
Here’s the thing that always bugged me about RPGs, as much as I love them. What defines one? A leveling system? A party? Equipment management? Maybe a turn based system? The latter would be a good point, but action RPGs exists. So for that matter, what’s the difference between an action game and an action rpg?
You can. Just turn the gambits off.
Honestly the best way to play XII is with the gambits automating simple things (Heal status effects as they happen, steal, attack with weak points if known) but the player doing everything else. You’ll drive yourself crazy if you try to make it fully automatic or something.
Ironicall…
Yeah, I really don’t get why people act like gaming as we know it will be done for if this deal goes through. As if there isn’t a ton of publishers out there still.
It’s ridiculous because most of what Sony complains that MS would do is shit that Sony ALREADY does.
As a huge XIV fan, the fact that I can see so much of it in XVI (the demo at least) is such a good thing.
“FF7 Remake’s “Stagger” combat mechanic plays a huge role here as well, encouraging you to go all out during a narrow window where you deal bonus damage.”
I played it on release. It was okay but the potential was absolutely wasted and the storytelling was....ugh. From what I played in the demo, XVI seems to be XV done right
This. The absolute best thing to see when you’re searching for something on Google are reddit posts
