He has some fans, but yeah, most people can’t stand him. I’m neutral to him, especially after his character development.

This is honestly the exact opposite for me. There aren’t really many PS5 titles I want to play. Sony might have exclusives, but if you don’t really care about those exclusives then it doesn’t really matter.

It’s the touchbar all over again. Sure it was a neat feature, but how many games actually used it as an actual touchbar and not as an extra button?

Well if you have a super powerful PC then maybe. My PC is pretty good and I don’t have any real problems playing games. I still have a series X. Namely because of game pass and namely because I upgraded from a One S and it made no sense to jump to the One X when I could just go next gen and be done with it.

Yeah, more reasons to not buy this game.

What’s fanboyish about it? Stating that you were underwhelmed by something isn’t a fanboy response. Honestly, expecting someone to be excited about an event just because you liked it sounds more fanboyish to me.

Honestly, I think I’d be happy either way. If it’s a fake out then kudos for having the balls to pull that off. If it’s not, then kudos for doing something new for the MK mythos. As long as the movie ends up good, it’s a win-win for me.

Something else I thought about after watching the trailer a few times....what if Cole isn’t the main protagonist? Like, he’s a vehicle for introducing the audience to the world of MK, but he’s not THE hero like people might assume.

I stand corrected then. I didn’t factor in the WiiU not being a huge success into the equation. I was also going by a few reactions from release from people who had a “It’s okay but not groundbreaking” reaction.

They had no problem in the 95 movie with this when they made Liu Kang the protagonist.

It could be me, but I don’t think 3D World in general was super well recieved back during it’s original release. I mean it’s a Mario game so it wasn’t a complete dud. But it was kinda meh.

I saw someone on Twitter have a similar argument. Basically saying that they were contracted to have a certain image and by getting pregnant, Charisma broke that agreement. They then proceeded to compare being pregnant to getting a haircut.

It’s not surprising they didn’t think about things like this when you consider that this is the same company that went “Hey, you know those flashing lights that can cause epilepsy? Lets throw that in because realism!”

What makes it even worse is that stores seem to be getting rid of a lot of their preowned stock with their “buy 4 for $20" type deals. A lot of games come up as “Unavailable online” with “Store Pickup Available!” right underneath it. And then you fall into the trap that I mentioned in my last post.

Their website is insanely stupid. Try searching for games with “In-store availability”. Marvel at all the games that are listed as “Pick up available!”. Grumble as you realize that “Pick up available” doesn’t translate to “Available near you.”

This pretty much. The switch is designed to be docked when not in use. If you just leave it laying around like a Vita or a 3DS, which were designed to be more portable, then you shouldn’t be surprised when it’s dead
