This. Honestly I never got that. “Look at these graphics! Now look at BotW!” Um...okay...they’re two different styles. One is an open world action RPG, the other is a tradition RPG monster catching game. Why are we comparing them?

This is so well written and it’s what I expected. Even with all the gripes and complaints this game is fun and seems to capture what Pokemon is. And that is awesome. I’ve played every generation but I still remember that first time I played Red when it was released. I was 14 and I had assumed that it was a little kid…

The way I looked at it is this. He’s considered the biggest streamer in the world. People say shit about him all the time. He probably thought that there would be some people who would try to stir up shit just to be assholes. Lets face it. It’s the internet. Hell, people are starting shit BECAUSE of what he said.

I remember the dreamcast launch. It was neat being able to go online with it, but then PSO came out. An MMO on DIAL UP released in **2000** has better connection speeds than a platformer made in 2019. It’s kinda crazy

So they finally added matchmaking with friends, but is the actual multiplayer still a laggy mess?

I was referring to when you said “Games With Gold must have slept with his sister or something.” They do the same thing with PS Plus so maybe it was a three way or something.

Except that there’s really no point. Sony has the dominant player base this generation and if the majority of sold copies end up for the PS4 then why bother doing this at all? It just ends up being remarkably petty.

They do the same thing with PS Plus. 

Actually, a LOT of PS4 players are pretty pissed at this. Possibly because of the crossplay but also because, it’s a pretty shitty and unnecessary tactic. 

I heard that it was actually supposed to support crossplay. So the “Pick the platform that has more people” point would have been moot.

What makes it even shittier is that you pay the same price all around. For something cuts out 2/3 of the player base. It is SUCH a disgusting tactic. Sony already has the bigger playerbase. What the fuck do they need exclusivity for?

This practice is pretty stupid when it’s only a few days or weeks. It’s downright absurd to do it for an entire year. It wouldn’t make me want to buy a PS4 or, if I still had one, to buy the PS4 version. If anything, I wouldn’t buy any version period
