Final Bison was a beast. I remember constantly pausing and unpausing just so I could react to the final Psycho Crusher.

I found out the hard way that playing with other people is how you get good. I mistakenly thought that if I played against the AI enough then I would be good. But that would reinforce bad habits and then I’d get demolished by anyone with actual skill. I had to relearn everything.

It’s probably on the back. But they’re probably thinking “If anyone knows about this game, they already know it’s the first part. No one window shops for games anymore.”

This. GTAO is basically an MMO. MMOs get updates and expansions with new areas. Just release GTA VI and make it compatible with Online and there you go. Maybe we’re making it sound a lot easier than it is, but it’s still something I’d love to see.

Although one could argue that if updates weren’t a thing then the game you bought would have been more complete. I remember the old days. Very rarely did you find anything game breaking. Nowadays the sentiment seems to be “Do what you can, we can make a patch later if need be”

I was just going to comment on this. Everywhere review I’ve seen about these said they dock just fine.

No, I agree. Honestly, you don’t play Borderlands expecting the wheel to be reinvented. Why? Because quite frankly, if it isn’t broken then don’t fix it.

“I’m posting to an anti hate charity. Now a bunch of my subscribers are spreading conspiracy theories so now I’m not.”

I’m pretty certain he doesn’t know what sincerity is so.....

SNK hasn’t put a price on the unit yet. If I had to guess, I’d say more than five dollars but less than all the dollars.

Well they have DLC and Season Passes and all. And microtransactions in some cases. Hey, I’m not saying this is evil. I’m just bringing up the double standard in those who do.

But in Overwatch, the lootboxes were harmless. Literally you got them for playing the game. You couldn’t even pay actual money for them. It was essentially a random unlock system. But yes, it’s definitely a paradox. Honestly, as long as it doesn’t end up being “Pay 2 win” then I don’t care. If people want cosmetics or

But it’s all optional. Consider this. I can spend money to get sync pairs in Pokemon Masters. I can also spend money on MUT packs in Madden. And I can’t even spend money on coins in Overwatch. But out of those three examples, only Pokemon Masters gets a pass. The other two are vilified. When MK11 came out and had a

And that’s exactly my point! Gaming sites, Kotaku especially, have been making a big deal about gambling and predatory tactics in games. How the practice itself is despicable and blah blah. Even something rather harmless like cosmetics in Overwatch is terrible. But this? This is fine because it’s free to play. It’s a

Mute it.

I was wondering about picking this up. I remember the GBA games were absolutely top notch. The PSP games were pretty awesome too.

True. And honestly, I’m not super angry. Honestly, I don’t see much of a difference between gacha games and buying packs for CCG games. It’s just the double standard that really annoys me.

Exactly.

Exactly. But the practice as a whole has been condemned for the last two or so years on here. Or rather, when it’s in other games. I remember a whole big article on Kotaku about lootboxes and gambling mechanics being evil, even in games where it’s purely cosmetic, like in Overwatch. But this game gets a pass. Why?
