Technically, the sports games don’t REQUIRE spending money either...

No. But lets be fair. With the way some people talk about it, paying for the game isn’t a factor. It’s the practice itself that’s considered predatory.

So....it seems fun so far, but how come there’s not a big fuss over “gambling” with this game? Don’t you have the option to pay money for random units? How come something like Madden Cards are considered “predatory” but this gets a pass?

I’d say that’s a pretty valid reason in your case.

But....that analogy is nothing like this. In your analogy, that would indeed be super shitty since it’s going to an entirely different platform. “I paid for this on Xbox and now it’s a PS4 exclusive. WTF”

However being an epic exclusive means it’s going from PC.......to PC. If you backed it on Steam and Epic grabbed it

Here’s what I don’t get about it. So it sounds like people are complaining because something was supposed to go to steam and Epic snapped it up instead. My question is.....so? on the PC, “exclusive” means “Oh, I have to download another store front.” It’s not like on consoles where exclusive means “Buy a new console

$10 for over 100 games, a few of them I’d never bother picking up otherwise. What’s the problem? Because some of them leave the service after awhile? No different that when I play a ton of a game and then trade it in when I’m done with it.

In all honesty, Game Pass was one of the main reasons I switched from PS4 to Xbox. It blows the pants off Playstation Now and is a killer deal. It’s kinda insane how many AAA titles make it to the service. You tend to look over at PS Now and think “What’s wrong with you?”

People seriously are content with using just youtube for music? It just seems like a hassle with having to listen to ads and such when I could just buy the soundtrack and listen whenever. I know back before streaming music hit it big, music on youtube actually helped drive sales much for the same reasons.

I think the problem is places like SE Asia that Nintendo does sell to and can still access Youtube. And also, Japan can access Youtube no problem. However it’s still rather ass backward, as more people would buy soundtracks than go through the trouble of listening on youtube.

I know plenty about abuse victims given my best friend suffered through abuse for years. I know somethings they do are irrational. Like blaming themselves or going back to their abuser. However trying to hold stuff for ransom on the condition of staying with you is pretty irrational, even for an abuse victim. In all

Loving this. Also..

So...it’s perfectly typical to have your ex arrested for assault, then deny him access to his property unless he marries you? Cuz I don’t know of a single abuse victim who would do such a thing.

Holy Necro Thread Batman!

Which is understandable, but he also seems annoyed that Twitch is using his old page to promote other streamers in general. Which, is pretty karmic if you ask me.

“or at least not promote other streamers and other channels”

The way I’ve always looked at it is that you can have competitive trash talk, commenting on skills and such. But if you have to delve into personal insults involving race, gender, sexuality, etc, then you’re soooooo doing it wrong.

Well there’s the fact that one of them involves bodily waste, which is usually considered hazardous. So there is that....

My immediate thought was “Okay, Bye”

The WiiU had great games though. It just didn’t have a big install base or third party support.
