And what about download? Not only are you limited in upload, but you’re also limited to 32 downloaded levels. And yeah, maybe “casuals” won’t hit that limit, but it’s still info I think should be mentioned especially since 1) it’s a professional review and 2) Even casuals know that the MM community is pretty huge.

This was one of my favorite seasons. Honestly I loved all the early RW stuff because it was....well....real. It was before it devolved into the “Party all day and night” style of later seasons.

Oh I know. But it’s the same guy. Also some outlets (Nintendo Life did anyway) have acknowledged it, but Kotaku still seems to gloss over it..It’s especially egregious when you consider that they actually uploaded a level, so they should have been the first to mention this. 

In Nintendo’s case, people bitch because they went from free to paid. They want some sort of value for Online and so far, they haven’t delivered. Now, I’m not expecting lag free, but I’m willing to guess that they didn’t even try very hard. 

The upload limit is pretty easily confirmed though. Just upload a level and you see 1/32

I’m saying that it kinda feels like if this were any other game, lag would be a reason to dock points. Here it just seems like it gets a pass. And lets not mention the controversy about the 32 level upload limit. After all, Kotaku and most professional reviewers didn’t.

Sorry but no. While these matches can be entertaining, the first and foremost thing on the competitors minds should be to win. If there’s a tactic that my opponent can’t counter, you bet I’m going to use it.
