The FFXIV stuff is permanent which is probably why it was assumed this would be as well

Because, you know...those who dont have a switch shouldn’t get cool games right? And I say this as a Switch owner. This isnt anything new for Atlus. Also, there wouldn't be any real competition on the 3ds as opposed to the switch.

Quite honestly? I don’t see an issue with this. Its a PvP game and Epic should have turned the PvP flag off or whatever. It would be different if he cheated or hacked or something, but he legitimately played the game

The practice itself? I’m not sure about the legality of it. But they should at least warn you when you link your account that you won’t be able to use it anywhere else.

Not Epic. Sony. You can sign in and transfer progress between Xbox, iOS, Switch and PC with no problem.

Here’s the thing. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe this isn’t a problem on the Xbox or the PC. If you have either one of those versions, you can sign in just fine. It’s SPECIFICALLY adding a Sony account that locks it.
