Dude, chill. A LOT of people who own it have said that. I played it to death and I’ve been playing SF since SF2. I like it and it has potential, but it is NOT GOTY material. Especially not in the face of GG and KoF. And that’s the opinion of a lot of people in the FGC.

I honestly think its biggest competition will be ME:A and Persona 5. I have high hopes for Horizon, but I can’t shake the feeling that it’s going to disappoint....

Except sales are abysmal and while it IS a solid fighting game, pretty much everyone can agree that it could be better and it’s nowhere near the level of SFIV. I’ve heard good things about KoF and Revelator has the kind of polish that should have been reserved for the “leader of the genre”

I like SFV. But there is NO way it’s fighter of the year with other games like KoF and Guilty Gear Revelator being better. I suppose they look at the fact that it’s been the most talked about....but with Capcom Cup going on that’s rather inevitable....

Onward to secrets beyond the horizon, and don’t forget the Phoenix Down. If that’s not Final Fantasy, I don’t know what is.

I think out of all of them, Blaster Master was the only one that WAS canon. The Ninja Gaiden one was pretty good too I remember.

If they kept with that, I can pretty much guarantee that people would have gotten tired of it. I saw it with Megaman. Everyone talks about nostalgia, but at the time of the NES games, people were starting to complain about the sameness of it all.

I’m nearly deaf myself and quite honestly, EVERY game should have everything subtitled. It really takes you out of a game when you can’t understand what’s being said sometimes.

This. Because quite honestly, Consoles aren’t known for modding. If I want to play Skyrim with mods, I’m going to do it on the PC.

This is indeed the correct response. PSO was amazing, even on dial up.

Both consoles have the same guts, but the Slim is well, slim, while the PS4 looks like a hunk off the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
