I was watching on my PS4 actually. There really wasn’t much difference. And certainly not enough for me to upgrade from my current PS4

And there we go. Now we have someone who actually DOES have a 4K TV and even they don’t see the appeal of this.
Maybe it will run things at a better framerate...but you know, perhaps they should have actually SHOWN that instead of being all “Oooh. Shiny”
Ditto. I actually use the optical port. So I could get an old model for cheaper and with more functionality.
Not to mention worrying if a game will run better on one graphics card or another. Or a bunch of other smaller problems. Not to mention that there have been a lot of PC releases that have ran like utter shit. Arkham Knight, MKX, and most recently No Man’s Sky. Not dissing PCs at all and consoles have had their fair…
You could probably still find the original model for cheap.
Pretty much agreed on all of that. There is NOTHING that makes me go “Oooh! I need this!”
Though to be honest, the Slim is kinda useless too. It’s barely smaller than the OG PS4. You could probably find OG PS4s brand new at $250 or less
From what I’ve seen, the difference between PS4 and PS4 Pro is....meh. It really didn’t blow me away. As it stands, the regular PS4 will probably suit you just fine.
So as I thought, if you don’t have a 4K TV then there’s really no point in buying this. Games running on the Pro look good, but nothing that makes me wanna run out and upgrade.
Commercials come to mind. Maybe releasing gameplay videos revealing how to beat bosses or something. It’s Japan so it wouldn’t surprise me if there were some crazy things done with this.
Or I just run DS4Windows, plug in my DS4 and im good to go. Though I suppose if you don’t want to deal with software then it could work.
Some look a tad bit skinny.... Mammoth looks badass though, as does Sigma. Boomer Kuwanger’s horns are a bit much though
Honestly, find Pokemon Origins and watch that. It’s only four episodes but I found it more enjoyable than the normal anime by far.
And this is why I gave up on watching Pokemon. Status quo is god. I guess they equate winning a league with being a master or whatever, except it wouldn’t. At least not a single league. Ash, however, has a shit ton of experience and he REALLY should be wrecking shit left and right.
I totally wish they went the Pokemon…
This is so stupid. I mean with all the games that have been released riddled with bugs, you’d think everyone would be GLAD that SE is taking the time to actually polish things before release instead of...you know...releasing it to a massive payday and not caring about quality.
It’s more about defending IPs I guess. Kind of a “If they allow one then they allow all” kinda thing. In some cases, like with the Pokemon brand, I can kinda understand it. But they’re not really doing anything with Metroid. I don’t see any harm in looking at it and maybe giving them the OK to continue...in fact, I…
DQ also tends to be simpler and more old school than FF, so that also helps matters.
Well the movie takes place before the game right? If it’s as good as it looks then it would drum up more hype for the game proper. At least that’s how I see it.
Ya know, in a perfect world, Nintendo would look at this, look at the response from AM2R and realize ‘Hey, people actually WANT this’
A lot of people already have this preordered. And on top of that, you mostly go out on Black Friday for deals. I imagine not a lot of people who didn’t plan on buying this game are going to just because it’s on the shelf on Black Friday. Especially since there’s no way it would be on sale. They’d just think ‘eh, I can…
I'm not even mad. Seriously, if it means a better game then go for it. Too much is riding on this for them to fuck it up.
