I don’t like seasons passes either. That being said, if it’s anything like what Square does with FF14, then it’s going to be good. Still, at least wait to see what it entails first.

Overwatch cheating.

Given the amount of hate that it had going into it, the fact that it made it’s budget back says a lot.

Also, the only movie that was critically acclaimed was the first one. Ghostbusters 2 is widely panned. Even this movie is seen as more positive.

I swear I’ve heard they’ve already greenlit a sequel.

The game had nothing to do with the movie. But the movie is definitely not a flop. It's not a runaway monster but it's still doing pretty good.

Getting refunds isn’t substantial?

This would be totally different if they didn’t have a tracking option at all. Just have a “here’s what you can find in the area” kinda like patches of grass in the games.

Instead it’s ‘We put tracker functionality in, but it broke. However if you use a third party tracker then you’re a filthy cheater.”

The whole thing is ridiculous. “Oh using third party trackers is cheating. Never mind that it’s because our own tracker is shit.”

I have to say though....if something with a terrible launch is this popular, gotta wonder what it would be like if it were a flawless launch....

I got Overwatch earlier in the week so guess what I’m doing. :D

I avoid LoL like the plague because of all the toxicity. I’ve installed it a few times and then eventually uninstall because while I’d like to get into it, the community scares the crap out of me.

I have seen Objective games come down to the wire. I have seen teams bounce back when all seems lost and actually win a match. So yes, the Point of No return is usually late in the match. Usually when the “Victory/Defeat” comes up, depending on type.

And yet, even with all the server issues, it’s STILL crazy popular. Maybe when they finally do the global rollout, they’ll have more servers that can handle the traffic.

But see, that would add authenticity! But yeah, now that I slept on it, that probably would be a major headache.

To be fair, they could have geolocked it rather easily. That being said, the server problems doesn’t seem to be slowing the craze down any.

I imagine it’s a server issue. It probably wouldn’t be that hard to introduce a geolock of sorts though. If the server sees you’re logging in from somewhere that isn’t “allowed” then it doesn’t let you on.

It’s not perfect, but yes, it is fun. You can tell that there was a lot of passion and love for the franchise. This wasn’t some nostalgia cash in. I think that’s what a lot of people were afraid of when it was released. They totally should remaster it for the current gen

For the longest time it was supposed to be considered the third “film”. I honestly think it’s worthy of that title. It was super good IMHO
