Fair enough, it is his personal top 10 not the Kotaku top 10. I just found it strange how this list is 70% indie games. Not every writer needs to make their top 10 hidden gems by the way, a games marketing might shouldn’t stop it from making top 10 lists (going in both ends of the spectrum), if a game is good it

Not 1 game of these games on your list: DOOM, Dark Souls 3, Battlefield 1, FFXV, Titanfall 2, Uncharted 4, Abzu, Owlboy, Forza Horizon 3 and more that are objectively better than a few of those games up there. Pretty strange to not even mention a single one of those games. Also a strange amount of indie games, seems

My big issue with 250's isn’t their ability to cruise at 70, but to overtake, get out of the way, anything that requires you to speed up to avoid danger, on the highway. You can full throttle a 250 at 70 and it’ll barely pick up, and will be suuuuper slow to accelerate vs the average car. Also a separate issue but

While in a normal situation I’d feel bad for the average joe who can’t come up with that large amount of money, fuck this guy in the mustang. He was driving like a dangerous dick and he should get his due in court, where he’d definitely be found guilty and have to pay up the remaining cost himself. Do stupid shit win

I disagree on that “small displacement” idea. A 500 probably isn’t bad but 250's don’t have the power you really need to say ride on a highway or fast road, you’ll find it hard to overtake or have the power you’d want to get out of your own way. 650's have generally less power than 600's and the torque from a twin

Actually I just did some research on a couple used car sites, Autotrader, KBB, etc. and all of the 2017 V10 Plus R8's I saw with over 1000 miles (which weren’t many and this guy had most likely less than 1k miles as it was a new car) were for sale at a hair under list price or $1000 less, not tens of thousands less.

That part about being contracted by a billionaire for something that involved for 100k sounds so bullshit it’s not even funny. The other bullshit part is that one singular person would be contracted for work like that. There is a 100% chance that job is given to a team of engineers, that way you have more ideas and

Yes but only driven a few miles is irrelevant to depreciation. An R8 driven like 1000 miles doesn’t depreciate any noticeable amount, maybe like a hundred bucks? Lol. Also Stef said this in another comment, “it’s apparently the first 2017 R8 V10 Plus in the USA”. It’s basically a brand new car.

Driver from the shop was in the car at the time of the crash, waiting to load onto a truck. Also I don’t get your first point, the insurance of the Mustang owner only covered up to $100,000. It has nothing to do with the insurance of the R8, the mustang owner simply couldn’t cover the cost of the super car he totaled.

It says specifically that there was frame damage, and you can’t really repair that so yes it’s a write off. The car can’t realistically be driven ever again once it’s frame is compromised like that. Also he probably whined on 3 videos to get all that YouTube view money, the guy has a huge channel. I’d be pretty

You say depreciated value, but the car was literally brand new. And it looks like only after market rims were added which doesn’t depreciate value at all, you can just swap the stock ones back on at the time of selling it.

That’s absolute bullshit. Entertainment has always been valued highly, regardless of decline or success. There’s a reason why gladiators were such a big draw in Ancient Rome when they were at the height and fall as a country. It doesn’t matter how society is doing really, people generally enjoy entertainment. Same

You honestly just sound salty and it sounds like you think you should be the one making millions instead of athletes or esports players. Super self involved, and as an engineer about to graduate college I hated the guys like you at my school, the guys always with that bitter “what about me” mentality. You don’t

Different game same idea yeah. They play CS:GO on TBS on TV. This guy plays CoD, but funny enough both the Faze CoD and CS:GO teams have a player nicknamed Rain.

Nah he’s doin the Slav squat all he needs is vodka and a cig for the look to be complete.

Don’t know why that’s a sad face, Johann Johannsson is dope

That shot is a still image from a video, and wasn’t professionally shot....I mean the dude does this with all his cars. His R8 has a roof box as well. He really does do that shit and not just for publicity. He just happens to shoot videos sometimes.

I mean sometimes they’re ya know, used for their purpose of carrying shit. This is Jon Olsson’s Lamborghini with a roof box, because he’s a professional skier who loves to drive fast cars. So he takes his roof box AWD Gallardo to go skiing. Also his digital winter camo wrap is cool looking imo.

I mean roof boxes are pretty damn useful though. As someone who skis they’re actually pretty dope and I wish they made a rack mount for my car so I could actually take more than 1 pair of skis places, whether it be a rack or a box they do similar things. There’s not always enough room in the trunk.

I’m absolutely sick of every other person in this thread talking so much shit about this guy and these RWB builds. Why do you feel the need to be so judgmental of those with differing tastes to your own? You find them ugly, okay then just move on there’s nothing to see here, however many other people (myself included)
