I would bet there are quite a few. Throwing 100 is just half the battle- throwing it where you want it to go is another. It’s similar to why the guys who win the long drive contests are not on the PGA tour.
I’m also shocked that Ronald Reagan never wrote explicitly racist stuff in journals he knew full well would one day be made public. Everybody knows real racists write everything down, you know, for posterity.
The Bills once being Super Bowl contenders is like the Republican Party once championing black civil rights: a historical fact that seems like a myth and also something that will never, ever happen again.
Am I the only guy who thinks of this guy when they talk about Peterman at QB?
“I mean he’s good and all, but have you seen this guy playing for Columbus? He’s just tearing it up and has earned the start over him.”
It’ll be very interesting to see how the USMNT manages to completely squander his entire prime...
Exactly, quit legitimizing the right wing narrative of Democrats.
THANK YOU! Seriously this article should have ended after -
Nope to all these pieces today (at this family of sites and others) fawning over her for saying the bare minimum truths that progressives share in meme form on FB. Not to mention that the majority of her “points” have already been made by the top two progressives on the stage (barring the reparations commentary).
Woman that was dating 20 men gets mad at man that is dating two.
The whole, “it’s tougher” thing only holds up if you’re talking about knockout stage games. Qualifying out of CONCACAF should be automatic (hence what an embarrassment it was for the men to fail to do that), and it’s not unreasonable to expect the USMNT to make it out of group play at any given WC.
They face much, much tougher competition than the women do.
Except when you look at the number of tv viewers for the women’s finals, people do watch. The numbers support it.
He was 21 and grew up homeschooled and indoctrinated. I’m with percysowner re: progressives needing to not be assholes when people see the light. It’s counterproductive.
Being raised super evangelical (and being super gay), his book and others like it made my life a living hell. That said, I can’t really muster any anger for him now. I know what that childhood is like, and I can imagine that being home schooled and writing that book at 21 was probably the product of some very…
Yeah, it’s a crime the pain he caused, but he was a 21 year old indoctrinated into a belief system, writing about something he probably had almost no experience with.
Yes, it would have been nice if he had realized this before he wrote his book, however the book was a reflection of part of that culture and someone would have written something similar.
As a Queen fan I have to disagree
