I agree Morgan did not look ready to go. With the deep roster the US has, it is puzzling to put in an injured Morgan. Especially after she has shown she is not at 100%. By playing her Monday, will she be ready to go Friday? Poor decision and could cost the US the tournament.

My two thoughts:

Don’t like 13 goals being scored on you play some fucking defense. Thailand could have packed all 10 players in the box forcing the US to take outside shots like Russia did in the last men’s world cup. They didn’t. They kept competing in open space against a team that is athletically, tactically, skillfully superior…

Get a linear encoder. Tracking bar velocity quantifies RPE.  No more guessing by going on ‘feels’.

I read/heard/dreamed that part of the problem was getting the cast to renew contracts. So many of the main characters careers had taken off. There were too many scheduling conflicts and so on. Which led to the shortened seasons and finishing the story.

What was the airline supposed to do? Imagine the headlines and outrage if a communicable disease had spread and broken out on that plane. Let’s bring it back down to earth. Someone has obvious flu symptoms and is trying to board a plane. Should the airline be cautious or allow them to board?

Gladys getting third was puzzling to me. That was Osmond’s worst performance for the reasons you state. IMO, Monster was going to be tough to beat regardless of Gladys’s song choice.
