Seconded. Eddy Current were so good at Golden Plains that I think i caught religion.

Future Of The Left are comfortably my favourite snark punk outfit, but the new album hasn't quite grabbed me like the rest. Still well worth a listen though.

Hit up the last weekend of the Melbourne Comedy Festival on Saturday night and saw Sara Pascoe and James Acaster, both of whom were excellent. Sara Pascoe has a rapid-fire storytelliing style, while James Acaster was very dry and laconic. Would see both again.

New Future Of The Left album is fucking superb.

The new one is pretty rad. The best thing about being a King Gizzy Lizzy Wizzy fan is that there's a new album every 6 months, and they're all good.

After the supermassivefuntimes that was Golden Plains the previous weekend, it was nice to have a quiet one inside (random work callout notwithstanding). This let me rip through the final season of Life On Mars (the UK edition, with John Simm). Really enjoyed it, and it ended at just the right time before it wore

What part of didi mau don't you understand?

So very happy that season 2 is in production at the moment. So many quotable lines.

Yep, have become regulars at our local for a couple of years. It's nice being looked after by the publican, it's like levelling up, but for drinking

Going to my local pub for the wife's birthday, and bringing Rock Band with us. Here comes fun.

Bloody Moldorm. Especially when you get knocked down the central pit and end up falling two storeys.

I told you never to call me on this wall!

Playing Zelda 2 as a kid made me think I didn't like RPGs. Playing Link To The Past made me fall in love with them. Love the bejeezus out of that game.

Always upvote Numberwang. At least Shinty-Six times.

I literally thought this, until I hit the comments section. It's exactly how my young bloke would have written it.

I'm surprised that people need to give their accents up when talking to Siri. I once watched a bloke from Glasgow who had been living in Perth for ten years before working in Guyana ask Siri for directions to the nearest petrol station, and it didn't skip a beat.
