I was on Jeopardy! this year, and I just want to say that Maggie, and the rest of the staff, are the freaking best. I'm not a bit surprised by all they did for Cindy, because that's just the kind of people they are. I cried watching Cindy last night. So proud of a lady I never met, and never will.

Eh, I like it as something to watch when there's nothing else on. :-)

Maybe I'm the only one who gets excited when someone from "Deadwood" shows up in another show … but that was Pasha D. Lychnikoff (better known to me as Blazanov from seasons 2 and 3 of "Deadwood") as Svetlana's dad. :-)

I think she's awful. If I were in charge of the point system, constantly tooting your own horn would be worth negative points.

Meatballs has been my go-to summer movie for years. I don't even like summer all that much, but the end-of-camp/end-of-summer ending always makes me sad. Same with "The Way Way Back," which is a better movie than I think it got credit for being. (I love Sam Rockwell).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer — after season 5, I only watch the musical episode, generally.

Agreed, 100%.

Just a warning about "The Sparrow," which I agree is a great book and a very compulsive read: it's fucking devastating. I read it 15 years ago and I'm still scarred.

I just want to say that I adore Bouton (Buttons), the dog. He's so goddamn adorable.

As a Corgi owner myself, I love love love that Holt has a Corgi. :-)

I super fucking love White Josh and Darryl. They are ADORABLE. I also think White Josh is possibly the only actual grownup in the cast.

Yeah. I didn't want to see Julia get raped, but I did feel like the goddess summoning just entirely worked out in the characters' favor … and that doesn't feel like good writing to me. I guess I want hubris to be punished? Or at least not completely and easily rewarded.

OMG, me too! I think I've seen every episode of "The Match Game" (we used to watch it during dinner when I was a kid, and then I've obsessively watched the reruns on GSN). I am absolutely dying to see a queen do Brett Sommers.

I don't like Chuck much, but he had my sympathy in the dinner scene. Every time Jimmy chewed loudly (and it was hella loud), I cringed. You just know that motherfucker was chewing with his mouth open. Not OK, dude. (Great character detail though.)

I like dark, but for me, the body horror of Hannibal was just something I couldn't (ha ha) stomach. I'm a horror fan, so that surprised me. I liked the show, but I just couldn't stick with it.

I love Bob the Drag Queen (great name!). I'm kind of enjoying Derrick the Britney impersonator. Acid Betty's kind of awful, and not in a fun way … anyone else remember when she was on Project Runway, in the episode where they designed costumes for drag queens? Also, I *want* Nicole Ritchie's kitty ear headband.

Yeah, I was really excited when I saw the Pup Gang. Oh well, it was still a fun episode. :-)

I just about lost my mind over how cute Pepe's little hoodie was.

How freaking cute was Marcelline's little varsity jacket? I want one!

Maybe I'm a giant baby, but I would add the Futurama episode with Fry's dog to this list. All I have to do, if I want to cry, is THINK about that goddamn episode. Not only will I never watch it again, but I avoid reruns of Futurama because I don't want to accidentally see that episode.
