Why the fuck would anybody but the whitest of white people go into starbucks?

Oh, Martin. Bless your heart.
No.
I love Kalen Reacts!
It’s a perfect conduit for ranch.
Thank you. I’m a 53 year old woman who has no real opinion about Taylor Swift, but this whole thing seems overwrought to me.
Incidentally I have a trans neiph who loves this song.
It’s not that deep. “You need to calm down.” Indeed.
This is exactly right! As a white person, it is my responsibility to call out my people on their bullshit! And even when I do it (I’m a very nonthreatening woman) they feel attacked. And I hang out with very progressive people for the most part.
Well said!
I don’t know how I’m being an exclusionary asshole by respecting other people’s space, or how this is at all hyperbolic.
I always love reading your posts, and am somewhat familiar with your story. I know what you’re saying is true, but the handful of (white) trans folks I know (including a neiph), have been fortunate to have very supportive families and friends. I know that’s not always the norm.
However, The Root exists for black…
I said almost this same thing in another response. It is fucking maddening!
I lost some friends (old friends, like FB friends from HS) in the last election, because I got sick of trying to explain to them that they are literally advancing racist/sexist behaviors and legislation by voting for this POS.
Oh, there are plenty of racists in western Oregon, too. Good thing we have Eugene, Corvallis, and Ashland to counteract some of that.
But the way things have been going here, I’m not about to be complacent about this!
Continuing to make friends and supporters all over the world! /s
Then there was Pepsi Light, which was diet Pepsi with a splash of lemon (flavor). So many memories of bygone sodas...
I had to google it. The hoodie is actually that picture of her.
My taxes go for a lot of shit I don’t want them to, that’s what we call “society.”
Diet Tab is redundant. Tab is only a diet drink. (I grew up in the 70's/80's and lived on that shit!)
I have children, and am about to be a Grandma. I love my kids more than anything, and I’ve always dreamed about being a Grandparent, but I have to admit, I am very concerned for the future of that child (and my own). I’m hoping my other child will not have children (I never thought I would say that!).
