“The company plans to employ fifty people at the site and spend $20 million over five years”
Manufacturers did that and people whined that you could only get a manual with the base model
So, along these lines we have two vehicles. I have a 2014 FiST and this year my wife sold her 2018 Regal TourX and bought a 2022 Civic Si. So I have some relatively informed positions on this subject as they relate to your position.
The engine in the Si definitely puts out more than 200 HP. It’s probably closer to…
Awful lot of ragging on the 2.0 Supra. “Only $8k cheaper” - that’s a lot of money! Considering the Supra 2.0 is a significantly nicer and faster car than the 86, I’m sure plenty of people appreciate it being the inbetween the 86 and the 3.0 Supra.
Just don’t go full Torch. You never go full Torch...
I normally say that there’s nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes, but this one is just about the exception that proves the rule.
They got the 5 and the 9 backwards in the price.
We don’t kink shame around here.
Why is your unicorn named Grimace?
It’s still an old car, but rust free and low-ish miles. I would say it’s the correct price, so NP I guess
The formula scales exponentially based on weight and axles, but yes the research has been done including on light passenger vehicles.
Why is this a video?
You mean the Mexican-built truck is kicking ass and taking names of two competitors built in Alabama, right?
Neutral: Klaus (my 2018 red SportWagen) just had his NYS Inspection and winter tires swapped out for his all-seasons yesterday. He’s great, but could use a good spring cleaning. He’s at almost 23,000 miles now (I got him in April 2019).
Isn’t this the truck that everyone claims they want but the big 3 won’t build anymore because there’s not enough profit? Given the stupid market and the miles I’d say this is easy NP on a truck that’ll be easy to keep on the road.
Hell yeah! More than I’d want to pay, but its condition seems to justify it in today’s crazy alt-reality market. I put 200,000+ miles on mine in 15 years, and only sold it because I wanted some of the new features available in the latest/greatest.
That’s correct. The Rover V8 was the aluminum Buick 215. It debuted in some BOP (Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac) models in 1961, but was expensive to manufacture and—in the early stages—had quality control woes. Not only that, it required special care that a lot of American owners and shops were ill-prepared to deal…
Me too - I was going to say... ehhh... this is a stretch.
Honestly, I was ready for this to be wayyy less boat-like than it is.
