I’m not as “picky” you on The Favorite, or on actual historical accuracy in general in movies (short of having Shakespeare sport an Apple Watch, obviously :-)) - and I say that as a proper history buffs - but as someone else mentioned, you shouldn’t waste perfectly good keystrokes on answering that particular poster.

OK, but it’s kiss first, punch later.

And will vote by mail - multiple times! - for Nov. 3!

It only matters if you want him dressed. I can do without, personally.

I agree entirely that popcorn is an abomination. (in a theater while I’m trying to listen to a movie.)

Sure, it could end up being a big ol’ dud, but, given that Villeneuve’s past films include Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival, whatever we get is at least going to be visually arresting

Has Mr. Hammer learned to act since his previous ventures? If not, it’ll be a pass (despite Ms Scott-Thomas’s presence.)

Respectfully disagree. Calling a movie a “remake” is a strong hint that the current film is harking back to the previous one. If it is not, then “new adaptation” works quite well, without the potential for misunderstanding.
