Paying $25 for a cellphone game is too much, that’s not really a point of contention.

Well, there are a lot of reasons for Kotaku to report on stuff like Scorpio (and even game leaks) before they’re announced, but yeah seeing the whole E3 schedule 30 mins before it starts doesn’t really offer much. Although it did help our news team coordinate coverage!

It is clear that Final Fantasy has changed direction pretty significantly since I first encountered it in 1990, and that’s okay.

It’s also clear that I’m no longer the target market for the franchise, given its shift in focus/direction, and that’s okay too.
