By the way, in the Senate hearing Crews explained very eloquently why fighting back was not an option for him:

OH REALLY NOW? This bitch coming for my beloved Terry Crews? HELL NO. I have so many things to say, but I’ll take the Terry road. I love how he responded. He really is the best.

McAllen is often called a “perrera” by people who’ve been through it. That’s “Doghouse,” because the people inside it feel like they’ve been caged like dogs.

Have you heard Hunger?

And as someone on Twitter mentioned: it’s a $39 jacket. What are the odds that Melania owns a $39 jacket?

Can you.

Seriously there is a lack of awareness of why people were upset there (they were “ganging up” on you because you empowered a giant bully).

I bet he’s sorry. Sorry that his ratings have been sinking like a stone while both Colbert’s and Kimmel’s have steadily risen for the last two years. Sorry indeed.

It still all comes down to violence against women.
In this case he found the most vulnerable women he could.

Fair enough. It’s just shocking because of how big of a celebrity Rihanna is. But yes, I do think we can also surmise that the public at large does not care about violence against women.

The Hillary tweet made me laugh. Lol good for her.

But my emails.

I like this game. I would build hospitals in underserved areas that focus on preventative care and women’s health including abortion procedures. I would fund high-quality daycare facilities in inner cities that include family counseling and job training for single parents. I would also be the bail money fairy for

If I had billions of dollars I would just build affordable housing for all the struggling people in Seattle. It’s a band aid over a bullet hole but at least people have temporary relief from the elements. I would also double NIH or CDC or UNHCR funding or prevent the extinction of elephants.

I loved Bourdain for a lot of reasons, but this might be the top of the list. The biggest deal about it, to me, was that he changed over the past 20 years, too. Kitchen Confidential was written by a guy who respected women who managed to survive in a restaurant kitchen, but wasn’t all that interested in asking why

Any dude obsessed with virginity is a creep. It is known.

He was a complex man. He said certain things that I found very offensive, but he also was extremely honest about his own struggles and failings. I got the impression he was a man who was trying very hard to be a better person.

Bourdain was an advocate for women. He also used his platform to give a voice to the largely brown and Spanish speaking staff who make up the backbones of our restaurant industry.

I know that many aren’t really fans here, but I loved Anthony Bourdain. I read his book many years ago and related to him so deeply. A person that also struggled with drugs and depression. This makes me really sad.
