Also, it’s not Thursday.

I’m 44...and from Queens. My Mom and my Aunts called it that too!

I like Campomaggi. Gorgeous italian leather, will literally last forever, and there’s a leather tag that’s usually on the back of the bag. If you scour ebay, you can snag a good deal on them :) Seriously the leather is the best.

Saint Laurent is a Y because the original designer’s name was Yves. They dropped the Yves when he died.

Still callin’ them pocketbooks, no matter how much they are.

No logos - that’s easy, Bottega Veneta. Have them in multiple colors, last for decades and no stinkin names on them!

To make the black shoppers easier to follow around and watch closely.

I’ve always explained my resting bitch face as a reaction to being able to smell the patriarchally oppressive bullshit going on all around. But I like this too.

You sound like the life of the party.

Wondering how many of the comments will be a version of yours: “your mother’s experience is likely unrepresentative. Instead of listening to her story, let me tell you about these other awesome nuns I know.”

No. I use them a few times a year and it’s fantastic. I feel sort of bad using them, b/c their business model seems unsustainable, but from the consumer end it’s great. I pay about $150 to rent 3 different dresses (worth $600-800) during a year or so, and it’s so much better than wearing the same $150 dress to all

God, I’m completely addicted. I rent at least twice a year. Never ever had a bad experience. Everything is much more high-quality than Ross and never in a million years did I think I could wear some of the labels I have. So it’s nice when you want to feel fancy. :) Try it for real.

Honestly, if I had an injury that could reasonably lead to some amnesia, I’ll consider using it as an opportunity to at least act like I no longer know certain people, even if I still did.

At first I thought you meant Bill Nye’s twitter page, not this other guy. I was ... maybe a little too excited.

Whether or not he has had work done is debatable, but I will say that he has one thing exactly right: MOISTURIZE. This cannot be said often enough, especially as you get older. I used to wonder why my mom, who I always felt had great skin, was almost fanatical about her Oil of Olay cream applications at night. Now I

Bill Nye the skin cream guy.

I wonder if this genre should start actually HIGHLIGHTING those details instead of hiding them.

You’re not stupid. It’s just Wednesday and Wednesday is the Monday of midweek.

I don't even know what this means. Why does no one use punctuation anymore?!?
