Jimmy’s panicked and reverent hiding and rehiding of the check was so funny and so relatable to those of us who share “poor brain”.

Kristen Schaal as Tennessee Williams was INSPIRED.
Why in the name of SANITY were their no understudies?!
I agree that Quinto’s character was sort of crammed in the end – maybe he was supposed to be introduced earlier? I did get a lump in my throat at Mikey adoringly watching Titus sing Circle of Life though, and at Kimmy’s roller coaster ending.
“I am so sorry THAT COSTUME IS MAKING ME INSANE”
The Kit-Olaf kiss/death scene was strangely sweet (and rhyming!) You’re right though, so much of this season (the fungus, Kit, Lemony’s involvement in the story, etc.) should’ve been should’ve been integrated much earlier into the series. Then again, we might be asking too much of a kid’s show.
“Are we throwing darts? That’s way better than opera.”
What was “The Kinja Caffeine Spider” doing “victim blaming in the AV Club comments”?
Deeply unsettling, my man!
I recently rewatched this with my 17-year-old brother while home for the holidays. He’d never seen it before, and was CONVINCED that pay off of the Andrew Lincoln-Kiera Knightly storyline was going to be the former admitting he was in love with Kiera’s new husband. This looks just weird enough to be awesome.
“Let’s say white people things! Billy Joel!”
My boyfriend and I had been predicting that the Good Place was empty/nobody was considered good enough since season 1, and felt very vindicated today. Also fuck yeah, D’Arcy Carden. Way to do the heavy lifting.
That sounds...fucking delicious. Add applesauce for the latkes and it’s my perfect meal.
Midge would approve.
Cliche, but definitely Peter Parker. I got into the comics very young (they were bought for my brother who couldn’t read yet, so score one for feminism!) and he nailed the bullied science geek life as well as the hero 3rd-grade-Audrey desperately wanted to be. Hey, sometimes characters are classic for a reason.
Mcelhenny Emmy NOW.
Exactly - we win some, we lose some.
This episode – especially all the real life celebration footage at the end – was so clearly McElhenny’s love letter to his city that even I, a born and raised Masshole of 25 years, teared up a little.
“Why aren’t more men bi? It’s 2018, get OVER yourselves!”
