Sam’s delighted “you’re in AV club? I was in AV club!” was so flipping cute. His and Justine’s relationship is one of the great sleeper plots of this season and I love it so much.

The ending areal shot of Debbie lying on the ground holding baby Randy’s hand through his crib was lovely. Her and Tamme’s relationship is even more lovely to watch.

I thought so too! And I hear rumblings there’s a lesbian character in later episodes, so way to catch up with twenty gayteen, GLOW.

$20 bucks Bash is gay, right?

I started sobbing as the second Hannah came on screen, I’ve never cried like that over a television show. What spooky relevance. What horror. I can’t wait for season 3 – hopefully by then this will seem like a much more outlandish science fiction piece.

Also. The scene where everyone starts quietly singing America the Beautiful; Moira sobbing, Luke leaving verklempt. Goddamn.

I loved the Canadians constant, subtle acts of disapproval and hatred of Serena, Fred, and all they represent. “I used to visit the States...with my husband.” “My passion is my work.” “We’ll take the next elevator.”

I just read today he has a young daughter, I can’t imagine what she and his other loved ones are going to. I hope humanity gets it together enough to leave them peace to grieve.

Did baby Angela seem way too small for the amount of time that’s passed since she was born? Or is that part of the “birth is all fucked up” aspect of the world? Also Serena Joy/June’s relationship is one of the most fascinating on television and THIS IS WHY YOU LET MULTIPLE WOMEN HEAD DRAMAS

I’ve actually been finding GOB’s late-in-life sexuality crisis to be one of the funniest threads. “I’m just really swamped with work/am I gay/Buster’s in jail.”

He’s Canadian, they sizzle easily.

I cried at the “June. My name is June. I always wanted to tell you that.” line. This show is so beautiful.

I thought he looked good! Just...more orange.

Good. She was a hack actress and an insane, hateful person. No one should give her a platform to spread her intolerance.

Yeah, totally - I think being reminded of Hannah’s existence totally breaks the precarious state of denial Serena lives in. June isn’t some friend doing her a favor; she’s a prisoner, like all the handmaids are regardless of how many weird brunches you throw them, and Serena hates being reminded of that.

My sister used a (paid, consenting) surrogate for her child and said that Serena’s resentment of missing out on “the experience” is very much on point, but the fucked-up underlying circumstances of how June and Serena got there in the first place kept her from sympathizing too much. I’m inclined to agree. No matter

I happened to be visiting my parents last night when this episode aired, which lead to both my mother and myself sobbing hysterically on the couch. This was such a perfect encapsulation of lower-middle class familial chaos and it’ll be missed.

Oh man. I was looking forward to this.

My parents were apathetic and me and my twin sister were in a couple APs each. Don’t judge the apple based on the tree. But yeah, shows involving students who age can’t last long.

I’m a waitress at a total shithole diner and we all joke about which of the Superstore characters we are. (I was declared Jonah because I’m in college and never shut up about podcasts, which is...tough but fair.)
