Yeah, don’t judge the mood of the whole season on “Ruthie.” I wanted to drink an entire bottle of wine after “Ruthie”.

AMEN. It’s also the reason these neckbeards like to “quiz” women on nerdy shit in hopes of tripping them up on some obscure fact about Jerry or whatever. They get to feel superior and comfort themselves with the idea that the girl wasn’t a REAL fan anyway.
Jessica Gao is one of my favorite writers and I was so thrilled to see a woman I look up to writing for a TV show I love - one that was sorely lacking female involvement - do you think those fuckheads realize that the “Pickle Rick!” jokes they keep shouting were written by her?
How was a horse brother and sister bitching about honeydew together the best scene on television this year? Bojack’s slow smile at the end was a new way to end the season, but goddamn if it didn’t feel earned.
I also loved the ten seconds of awkward silence afterwards where Summer and Morty just stared at each other, horrified.
I also liked, in true 90s form, how it was OJ related.
As soon as Henritta’s true connection to the fucked-up Horseman clan was revealed I stood up from the couch and yelled “SISTER.” The usual fucking gorgeous, upsetting 11th episode - with a twist I legitimately didn’t see coming. This show is something special.
The “Holy shit, how long have you been saying it like that?” granite joke was one of those stupidly real bits that keeps a show this zany grounded in a semblance of real relationships. I cracked up.
The moment where Bojack just ROUNDS on his mother after finding the diet mix, LIVID, is some of the best acting Will Arnett has ever done. I was terrified of him.
Eleven sure does love waffles...
“It’s like church, you say the words so often you forget what they mean.”
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Partially because it premiered when I was still in single digits, but the first few episodes I saw seemed low-effort and a kind of bro-y humor I chafe against. Then this spring I moved into an apartment where it was literally everyone’s favorite show and I gave it another go.…
Amen brother.
“Are you from Ithaca? Because you are looking Gorges.”
This episode was so real and so raw for those of us struggling with depression. I sat on my bed and thought about it for a good ten minutes afterwards.
I always assumed it was because Rick has the best one-liners - I think it’s more people want that kind of wit.
The only time I’ve ever heard of a trial separation working out was a friend of mine whose partner turned out to have undiagnosed bipolar disorder. Once he was in treatment they were happily (at least from my perceptive) back together.
I’m. So. Flipping. Excited.
“Making food is impossible.” is such a Bojack attempt at geniality.
As soon as they started playing the Damaged coda at the end I freaked. Great twist that tied everything together.
