The pacing of the opening works better in the Producer's Cut for what it's worth.

Which he also snuck into a digital photo frame he gave to April, too. I loved that callback in the finale.

The Producer's Cut is up, and, spoilers, it's not Brandonowitz.

I'm pretty sure it was that Rashida and Rob wanted to explore other projects and asked to be written out of the show (which makes sense given that they were so busy with said projects that they could literally only get the two of them together for one day of shooting)

"being best man at a gay wedding"

The producer's cut is up now on nbc.com

I didn't feel too bad that he never showed up again, but I did find it weird how the rest of the show just pretended he never existed in the first place. Him not having a box of stuff when Ann was going through all her boyfriend boxes. No mention of the plans he made for Pawnee Commons, etc. Even just small cursory

well technically parks and rec had already used flash forwards before the finale

actually he says "It's time to go" and he says it to both of them. It's meant to be vague.

I was kind of hoping for one last Councilman Howser gag, where Leslie does or says something inappropriate just as he's walking by. That's always been one of my favourite running gags.

He purposefully (by the show) directs it to both of them. The guard says it and then looks at both of them individually.

apparently Rashida and Rob were so busy they literally could only get them to film together for one day, which would be why they dont have any flash-forwards

No lie, assuming Mike Schur was telling the truth? He says it should be made public tomorrow.

separate flash-forwards, i should point out.

"because it stayed true to the show."

There is. And, spoilers, it has flash-forward stories for Jamm and Shawna Malwae-Tweep

"No offense but maybe you think I'm going too fast because you're going too slow with Ben."
"No offense but I'm going slow because I might lose my job."
"No offense but maybe that's a little bit of an excuse for not acting on your feelings!"
"No offense but I don't remember you having a nursing degree in feelings!"
"OFFENS

Tho in the video-will-thing when the camera pans out there IS a picture of Rufus, so that was something at least.

This was a comment about Blaine. Kurt is irrelevant to it.
